I called 3 times to schedule for an estimate for duct cleaning. First time to schedule and they would call me back, 2nd time to schedule as nobody called me back, 3rd time to ask for a supervisor to schedule and got through with the supervisor who scheduled for this morning between 8-11 am. We waited till 11 am and called to see where the tech was and when he would come by. The employee answering the phone was friendly and apologized that the person who was scheduled was new to the job and never contacted their office as he probably didn't understand he was the one to go out. We were told that he would contact us right away. After waiting another 30 min. no call, and we contacted Fast again. An hour later we got a call from Fast asking if the tech had contacted us. It is now 1:19 pm and still nobody called us. I wouldn't waste my time on them as they wasted our day. We had a water heater installed by them and on prior properties had a service contract and had them come out to at least 4 properties. Future business will be given elsewhere.

Purchased a $9000 air conditioning system less than a year ago from FAST. Also purchased a service agreement. Technician came today to do the ""check-up inspection"". Left saying all was good, which matched with our experience of no difficulties at all with the unit. However, after the technician left, unit stopped working. When temperature got up to 80, called FAST and reported that my perfectly fine, less than one year old air conditioner was no longer working after their technician ""inspected"" it, they said they would send another technician out within the next couple of hours. No one showed, and at 11:44PM called FAST to inquire whether anyone was coming. Told ""no technician was ever assigned"". When asked why I was told someone was coming was told ""That's a good question"". Told someone would come the next morning. Not feeling optimistic that anyone will show or if they do that they will know how to fix whatever problem that they caused!

Do not use this company!! We did a large project with them(new ac, new water heater, new electric panel and generator); didn't pull permits , almost a year since installed and ac basically had to be redone, still not resolved!! We've hired another company to fix the poor work they did. Won't give any more details as we may have to take further actions to resolve, but I felt the least I could do was warn people!

Very expensive and job was done ok at best. They left fingerprints all over the ceiling after changing light figures.

If I could leave a less than 1 star review I would. Let me start by saying we chose FAST based on their highly positive reviews. Unfortunately our experience has cost us $1000.00 for a coil cleaning then 10 days later we came home to frozen coils after the $1000.00 coil cleaning that we were told was the reason our AC wasn't cooling. Frozen coils three times in one day!!
Here we are, still waiting on a supervisor to call us back....with frozen coils again. When ice melts that equals water, water and electric are not a great combo.
I said this is a 911 emergency and the person on the other end replies, well, the managers don't work on the weekend. I asked that surely someone can reach them in case of emergency right? I was told they sent a message and worst case scenario, we'll get a call back tomorrow.
Originally we had service on July 6th for our AC units that was not cooling. The technician Harvey would be out between 8 -11:00 AM. No one came. After the initial and two other repeated phone calls on my part we kept being told they were running behind and we were next on the list. Harvey finally arrived 8 hours late at 8PM. He was polite and determined we needed the coils cleaned and the coolant level was fine. 5 days later, (yes in the extreme FL heat of 105 -108 degrees that week) Harvey was scheduled to come out. Again we went through the same non -sense. At 7:38AM we got a text that he would be here between 8-11:00. It took 3 phone calls again and finally he arrived within 15 minutes once we asked to speak with the owner or manager. We never did get that call from and supervisor/ owner, etc. Harvey showed up 6 hours passed the promised time and asked could he use our bathroom? Seems he could have done that sometime between 8- 2PM. Regardless he cleaned the coils and was polite and said that should fix the issue. We still asked to speak with the owner/ supervisor and have yet to hear from them.
Now here we are a week and a half later, a charge of $1000.00 and no improvement in cooling and now FROZEN COILS and a best case scenario of we should get the supervisor call by tomorrow. So if anyone reads this, please call!! Check your inbox, voicemail, text or email. Something, please. We need help. Please send us some of that 5 star review service we see.

The tech harvey was very good and very responsive. Spent a lot of time trying to get someone in the actual office on the phone though.

Inspected our appliances, took our money, then said they couldn't repair our appliances!
We wanted a one-year repair service for a condo we bought that had older appliances. The real estate agent selected Fast of Florida. Their rep came to the condo and inspected our appliances, then charged $838.45. When our dishwasher broke, the rep said he could not repair it because it was too old. He also said that all our appliances are too old, and he would likely not be able to fix any of them if they broke. Shouldn't that have been made clear to us at the inspection?
I called Fast of Florida, and although I was disappointed, the customer service agent said we could get a refund of the $838.45 minus the cost of the service call. I also spoke to a woman in the billing department who said the same thing, but I would need to wait 8-10 weeks for the refund.
When I called to check on the refund, there was a new person, Melissa, in billing who did not honor the promise made 10 weeks earlier and told me now they would only refund $328! I have written Melissa and called several and she has not responded.
This whole experience has soured me on Fast of Florida!

After utilizing FAST for nearly 20 years, we are now left with no alternative but to seek a new provider. I was given a five-hour window for a service to be provided only for me to call the company at 4:40 pm questioning if the service will still be provided. While waiting on hold, FAST called and left a message indicating they would need to reschedule. The same person then picked up my call from being on hold. When I expressed my frustration with being required to remain at home for 5 hours, we asked for a specific time the technician would arrive and was told I could only be given another range of time. Not sure why I was not offered a first service of the morning on a different day, but that is apparently the state of service that FAST has taken. Additionally, why the call to cancel came in so late is also not appreciated. This is most unfortunate as I am losing what had been a trusted provider of both HVAC and plumbing. In addition to the above concerns with FAST since their corporate takeover. I am also having difficulties with them regarding warranty notifications and work to be completed under warranty which as seniors living on social security will severely dent our budget if not covered. I had a new company come out for an annual servicing of our heat pump. Based upon the work they did in their inspection, I realized that FAST has been providing only the minimum work necessary. Specifically, the new company pulled the blower motor out of the plenum for cleaning, and this demonstrated significant mold contained therein which represented years of buildup. FAST never did such extensive work and given the buildup explains out continuous sinus difficulties. Buyer beware!

Terrible experience. Hot and cold hook up backwards. Ran cheap PEX outside house in bright sunlight. Cheap fittings that will likely fail. Ran cold water lines inside attic secured to roof joist so water comes out scalding hot from attic heat for 2 minutes. Ran outside hose off of water softener, which would kill landscaping. Twisted hot and cold PEX in wall. Did not secure PEx in wall. Awful. Frustrating and expensive to fix. Water shut off is hooked up backwards so on is off and off is on.

Shaun answered my call for AC repair. she was wonderful, pleasant and knowledgeabl. I'd love to ask for her when I call again.
