Avoid this company, by all means do not use them. I have purchased a Lennox Elite system, fantastic system - Lennox is worth every penny. But the process outside of the electrician has been terrible. The original installation required a second visit as the installers were more interested in getting their holiday weekend than completing the job correctly on the first day. They had numerous issues which needed to be corrected. But most importantly, the office has incorrectly billed me FOUR - yes four times! Once mistake said I owed double, and I had paid in full the day of - yes they wanted twice the job, after getting full payment! I have had two bills of sale stating the original paid in full, and had to be refunded money I was forced to overpay when the electrician was present, as their AC and Electrical departments do not communicate. The office has repeatedly not handled the issue, and last night I got yet another bill for the original electrical overpayment they had to refund - as if I owe it, which I do not. To make matters worse, the ceiling was damaged when they installed the unit, no one has come to fix it, even as this company has their hands out for money they are not owed. The equipment is excellent - but find a better place to buy it from. Lennox needs to evaluate if they want this company as a preferred dealer.

Following a recent power outage, I noticed that my air conditioner had stopped blowing cool air. I have a service contract with Fast of Florida so I called them to come look at the unit. The serviceman who came out was Stefan. He told me that the condenser was down and quoted me a price of $4500 to fix it. This seemed excessively high to me but I agreed to it because it was Florida in the summer and I needed to have a working A/C. However, after input from neighbors, I decided to get a second opinion and reached out to Air Zone HVAC. The serviceman from Air Zone told me that the system had a bad starter kit and burnt wires. He fixed these things for a total cost of $635 and the A/C started running perfectly!

I called Fast of Florida to tell them about the glaring discrepancy in repair costs and was told the manager Stephan would call me. However, it has now been over a week with no return call. At this point, I have decided that I will no longer work with Fast of Florida and would like to terminate their service contract, obtain a refund of the $199 contract fee, and receive an explanation and apology.

I am writing this review because not only am I shocked and dismayed at Fast of Florida's handling of my situation, I am concerned that others may fall victim to these unethical practices. I am a retiree and a widow and I cannot help but think that I was very nearly taken advantage of by them because of those things. Fast of Florida and Stephan, I hope you will do the right thing now. I had to add a star just to post this review, but Fast of Florida, in my belief, does not quailfy for any stars!

I called for a repair of a broken faucet. He responded promptly, but no parts were available. He wanted to service our water softener, which is working fine. Also, look at our hot water heater, we don't have one. We use a tankless heater, not a hot water tank. The service guy wanted to take pictures of all my plumbing.
The service guy appeared to want to develop more business rather than fix the immediate problem which was why we called.
We paid for his time and sent him away. I would recommend not going down again. We certainly won't.

Back in early of August of this year I noticed that the metal grate behind the a/c filter had frozen over. I called up FAST of Florida to get a technician out to find out what the problem was. The first technician checked things out and on the first invoice he stated that they would need to replace a capacitor/relay part, do a UV dye test to test for the leak, along with pumping the system with refrigerant so that in the mean time I would at least have cold air blowing until he came back the following week. The next week the same technician came back to follow up on the UV dye test, once he saw the results of that he told me that I would need to replace the evaporator coil. I told them to go ahead and order the part. a few days later they came back to install the coil and pumped in more refrigerant into the system. Everything seemed to be working fine, but then I noticed that thermostat was reading the room temperature 6-8 degrees below the setting I put it on. So I called that same day and they sent over a different technician to check things out. After looking things over the technician told me that I needed a new blower motor. It's been over 5 weeks, called them multiple times to come out to fix this problem and it's cost me almost $5,000 and my a/c still isn't working. This past Thurs. 9/12 I had someone come out to give me quotes for further repairs as well as quotes for a new a/c unit. The technician that showed up told me that it was insane that I put that much money into repairs on a 5 year old unit and he also said to me that I shouldn't put anymore money into repairs because it was like ""putting a band aid on something, expecting it to fix the problem."" After all of that I feel like I was scammed out of all that money for repairs and the refrigerant is still leaking from the system. If I had known from the beginning that it wouldn't be worth it to pump all of that money into repairs I would've gone with another company that actually knew what they were doing. I do not recommend this company to anyone.

I do not recommend this company. They came out and fixed my air.it was over 500.00. They had a list of other things to be done. My AC is only 5 yrs old. One and a half weeks later I had to call them back. I was told my compressor was bad. That with other repairs 4800. I said I will buy a new one first. Prices tgey gave me over 10,000!! I declined and looked around. The next AM had someone come out. The thermostat was left not hooked up to unit. Not snapped in. Too much freon was in it also. The other company fixed the air for 96.00 and said it will be good for yrs. NO NEED FOR ANYTHING FAST FLORIDA Said. The are ripping off at an already inflated time in this country. Shop around.

Dangerous!
Not only did 2 technitions leave without telling us, and leave a mess in our house (stuff is still on the floor from his visit!) but they also lied about what was being done and the saftey of it!

After replacing an ac system, the technition told us that ""we had to leave the house while he de- molds the air vents"" he said it was ""toxic"" and dangerous. Instructed us to leave for an hour and come back- when we came home 40 minutes later, he was gone and nowhere to be found. We called the office (who had no idea where their employee was) They said it was perfectly safe and that the technition lied about the danger!
The office Instructed us to go in, and we did not smell or notice any difference. After over an hour on the phone the ret of the day, we finally convey that he must not have done it, and called the day a nooner instead. They send another tech the next day-

to the credit of the second technition, he was better. But he then again told us that we would have to leave, now for 2 hours rather than one and that it was ""very toxic"". Either way, we were lied to by this company, because three hours later, when we returned, he was gone and the home reeked of chemicals. So without knowing, the office blindly sent us into a home that could have killed us! Incredibly dangerous and potentially criminal levels of negligance. Do not use fast!

Fast just means not getting the job done right! (by the way, the ac they installed can't regularly keep it below 73, and the ac pannel they installed only turns on half the time)

First, the reviews for FAST of Florida are misleading. FAST of Florida reviews are mixed in with a lot of other states. This does not help local potential customers. I am a customer of FAST of FLORIDA because the air unit was in the home I recently purchased. So far - so good. I called them to come out and inspect the unit. The tech was polite and the office staff - nice enough. I bought the $199 warranty. Hopefully, all goes well.

$5000 repair estimate on their unit after only a few years, got it repaired for $200 elsewhere. I would not trust their evaluation or pricing and suggest getting multiple estimates if you do call them.

I called 3 times to schedule for an estimate for duct cleaning. First time to schedule and they would call me back, 2nd time to schedule as nobody called me back, 3rd time to ask for a supervisor to schedule and got through with the supervisor who scheduled for this morning between 8-11 am. We waited till 11 am and called to see where the tech was and when he would come by. The employee answering the phone was friendly and apologized that the person who was scheduled was new to the job and never contacted their office as he probably didn't understand he was the one to go out. We were told that he would contact us right away. After waiting another 30 min. no call, and we contacted Fast again. An hour later we got a call from Fast asking if the tech had contacted us. It is now 1:19 pm and still nobody called us. I wouldn't waste my time on them as they wasted our day. We had a water heater installed by them and on prior properties had a service contract and had them come out to at least 4 properties. Future business will be given elsewhere.

Purchased a $9000 air conditioning system less than a year ago from FAST. Also purchased a service agreement. Technician came today to do the ""check-up inspection"". Left saying all was good, which matched with our experience of no difficulties at all with the unit. However, after the technician left, unit stopped working. When temperature got up to 80, called FAST and reported that my perfectly fine, less than one year old air conditioner was no longer working after their technician ""inspected"" it, they said they would send another technician out within the next couple of hours. No one showed, and at 11:44PM called FAST to inquire whether anyone was coming. Told ""no technician was ever assigned"". When asked why I was told someone was coming was told ""That's a good question"". Told someone would come the next morning. Not feeling optimistic that anyone will show or if they do that they will know how to fix whatever problem that they caused!
