My electrician referred me here and I'm so glad he did. My first inclination was to buy something from the home depot, but there wasn't really anything that caught my eye. I was very specific with what I needed, since my ceilings are only 8 feet, it had to be low profile. The gentleman who manages this place really knows fans. I told him exactly what I was looking for and he pointed my straight to the fan that fit all my specs. What great customer service!

I simply love my fans, ended up getting one for each room. They make a huge difference in airflow. My fanimation Xeno is a silent air flow dream. So happy I spent a few dollars more and got a superior fan, that is a beautiful addition to my home.

The bottom line, this is the place to go for a nice-
looking, quality fan. The prices are totally reasonable, but the service and knowledge of the sales staff is outstanding. Not to mention, they have every style of fan under the sun. Money well spent-a very satisfied customer for life.

We bought two fans here and purchased the installation package. Everything went great but we noticed one of the fans had a loud hum. We worked with Rob on troubleshooting it and when nothing worked he got us a replacement fan and re installed the new fan for no extra charge. The replacement fan worked great ad was very quiet. The customer service was great and I will buy more fans from them because they actually help you if there is a problem.

Fan Diego is a ceiling fan and lighting company located in Kearny Mesa area of San Diego. My significant other found this business on Yelp while doing research on where to go to purchase ceiling fans.

We purchased 2 fans; both were Minka Aire:
1) The living room was a 60 inch (F689-KA) - https://www.fandiego.com/products/minka-aire-kola-xl-f689-ka-in-kocoa. The 60 inch comes with a remote; we also purchased a white cover for the lights on the fan.
2) The bedroom was a 52 inch (F688-KA) - https://www.fandiego.com/products/minka-aire-kola-f688-ka-in-kocoa. We purchased the remote separately, since the 52 inch does not come with one; we also purchased a white cover for the lights on the fan.

What significant other and I liked about both fans is the airflow. The fans can be set to circulate air downwards (like any other normal fan) or it can also be reversed to circulate the air upwards (which we both personally like).

So why did we purchase the fans from Fan Diego instead of ones from Home Depot? Because there is a ""Lifetime Limited Motor Warranty"" and ""One Year Electronics Warranty"". Fan Diego also offers installation services, but we did not use their installation service, so I cannot comment on that.

As for the service, Anna was our salesperson. Super knowledgeable and clear in communications on what to expect in terms of pricing as well as functionality of the fans itself. Plus - she's got some muscle power! She put the fans in the back of our trunk (while my significant other stood there awkwardly trying to be a gentleman to help)!

I had a very good experience with this company! We bought 4 ceiling fans at the store, and found out later on that they had an online promotion that allowed people to get credited for their sales tax. When I mentioned it to them, they said they'd be happy to extend us the promotion and a few days later got a nice credit back! They also replaced a part that didn't work (through no fault of their own). They have a great selection of items, and their customer service is top notch. I feel like I'm going to get a good deal whenever I do business with them and I would happily recommend them to anyone needing a fan. I'm a fan of Fan Diego!

I went here today at the suggestion of my electrician. I thought I knew exactly what I needed, but naturally, I was off by a few details. Anna was incredible! Been a customer for almost 20 years, but will never use them again. Bought 2 Casablanca fans which were supposed to include free installation. Salesperson did not inform me of any ""asterisks"" until installer showed up and said would be an extra $75 per fan. Response from store manager was ""too bad, read the fine print"". I agree with most of the positive comments from others, but ethics and honesty mean something to me. something this business, unfortunately, is lacking.

We spent a small fortune on 2 fans... but they are well worth it!! One of ours was having problems and they exchanged it out no problem at all. They all had good recommendations ( I had no idea there were SO many options of fans, colors, sizes etc...)

I purchased a ceiling fan with lights at Fan Diego which they installed some years ago. I felt in choosing Fan Diego I was supporting small business and they would provide good support in return. When my remote stopped working I went to Fan Diego to purchase a replacement remote/sensor. They said that model was no longer being produced. I asked if there was an updated or universal replacement remote system they could sell me. Since they sold and were familiar with that model it would seem they would have information available on replacement units. Instead they told me to get the model and serial number off the ceiling fan and bring that information to them. My instincts told me something is wrong with this picture. I finally got him to admit that others had come in with the same issue and after sending them home to get the numbers off a fan attached to the ceiling they were not able to help any of them - it was just a run-around. Perhaps there is no replacement sensor/universal sensor for my fan and I need to buy a new ceiling fan. Rather they give me a run-around they could have told me that upfront. I will consult with an electrician to get a straight answer. If I need a new fan I will definitely not buy it from them.
