I was in the market for 6 ceiling fans for our new home. Albert Navarez was my sales associate. He helped me select the fans that best met my needs, explaining the differences between fan types, and also helped me determine the best size fan for each room. He was very knowledgeable and friendly throughout our interaction. I left there very happy with my purchases. I highly recommend Fan Diego for their great selection. I dealt with manager Andrew yesterday to order a $140 lamp shade. He took my order/credit card information and told me that he would place the order and send an email confirmation before the end of the day. None of that happened. More concerning is that, if he had been working online while taking my order, the email confirmation would have followed shortly thereafter. The fact that it didn't suggests that he physically wrote down sensitive consumer data and left it lying about the store which is against the California Business and Professions Code...stores cannot record, store or contain sensitive consumer data (yes, Credit Card details are considered sensitive), without adequate security protections and the fact that he couldn't even place my order doesn't bode well for his ability to protect sensitive consumer data. I canceled my order, won't call them again and now watching my credit card for unusual activity.

The staff at this store are extremely helpful. I called them last week looking for extra chain for light fixtures that I had bought elsewhere. I spoke with Albert and he said that he would find some for me. I went to the store and Albert brought a basket full of chains for me to choose from. I got exactly what I was looking for. While I was at the store, I noticed that they have excellent selection of lights and fans. I even saw some fixtures from Hubbardton Forge, which I haven't found at any other brick and mortar store. I would definitely be going back when I need to buy light fixtures or fans in the future.
