Rob from Fan Diego just rebuilt a 19-year-old Casablanca fan, which I was hoping to save because it was purchased by my now-deceased parents. I originally assumed that I would have to replace it, but Rob told me that he could rebuild the old one. He did so (in about a day), and it works even better than before-- and I saved about $300 vs. replacing the old fan.

I saw an advertisement in the Union Tribune for a Casablanca fan promotion at Fan Diego. We have had one ceiling fan in our living room for some time, but with this hot weather (and the high air conditioning bill), we thought it was about time to consider fans in some of our other rooms.

We went to the closest Fan Diego location on Clairemont Mesa Boulevard and met Andy, the saleman. We ended up purchasing three Casablanca fans, one each for our Master bedroom, our Guest Room, and my office, and an Emerson fan for our Kitchen.

We just had them installed today by John Trivinian of Padre Electric in Poway. John did a fantastic job and we love how all of the fans turned out.

It was very good to work with the folks at Fan Diego. I can't say that we'll need another fan for a while, but if anyone else does, I would strongly recommend Fan Diego. If you ever need an electrician, I would also highly recommend John from Padre Electric.

I ordered a Minka Aire Bolo 52"" Remote Control Ceiling fan from Fan Diego. James was great. He worked with me on the delivery date and was super nice. The fan came in perfect condition and was of very good quality. I am very pleased and would order from Fan Diego again.

5 starts cause they really strive for customer satisfaction. We hired a personal long-time electrician to install the fans we purchased from FanDiego. He was unable to make one fan run because ""the fan was defective"". We called FanDiego and told them the situation, they were prompted in solving the problem and making sure i was ""taken care of"". They sent out one of their own electrician to my home who was able to make the fan run properly within 5 min. Apparently is can be a common issue if an electrician is not familiar with fan installation. Overall, we should have just hired FanDiego to do the instal! I would tell anyone to use their installation service. I really appreciate how quickly they helped solve the problem and with great customer service.

If you love supporting local businesses, this is one for you. I purchased two ceiling fans, one for my master bedroom and one for the guest room, and wanted quiet efficient fans. I LOVE the Casablanca fans I purchased, and wish I had decided to do this a lot sooner.

Andrew helped me pick the right fans. He showed me the Casablanca first, then went with me patiently through the store as I asked him about every other potential fan. I ended up selecting the one he recommended, and he did not try to upsell me on their more expensive version, which he convinced me was not necessary for my use and the size of my rooms.

Their prices matched the best I saw on Amazon or other internet sites. They did ""pay my sales tax"" which another reviewer indicated was an inadequate discount. I thought it was great, Amazon NEVER offers to pay my sales tax.

I paid them for installation, which they outsourced to a local (licensed, totally legit) electrician. There were some communication/logistics issues, but when I expressed I wasn't happy, they did everything required to address the issues and leave me completely satisfied. Problems happen. I'm okay with that, as long as a seller works with me to solve them. Fan Diego did, and I'm totally happy with the result. The installer did a great job, and once again, I love the fans. I will use Fan Diego in the future and recommend their products and services to friends and family.

Called on the phone first and they were very helpful. Told me their fees up-front. Brought the fan in and did troubleshooting at the counter. Resolved the issue without major repair. Friendly and great customer service. They just got a new regular customer.

Rob gave me great customer service. He was very patient and informative, and did not try to upsell me on anything. I pointed out one fan I liked, and he showed me a similar fan that was a better fit for my place, and less expensive.

Prices are competitive. I got my fan for the same price as any online stores (Amazon, etc.).

Haven't had my fan installed yet, but I'm looking forward to it.

Absolutely horrible experience, as well as equally horrible customer service.
I wanted to support a local business instead of buying a fan from home depot.
I buy two fans since the heat is coming and see a fan that looked nice and ordered two of them. I received a receipt as well as a confirmation the next day about my order.
I purchased these online since I recently fractured my back and cannot go out. I then receive a phone call saying they cannot honor the price and that the price was a glitch on their website due to an an update. They then call me but I could not answer due to me being at the hospital and they simply cancel my order and simply say they won't honor it.
I am a manager myself and I know the golden rule of customer service, the customer is always right. As well as assuring they we honor everything that is advertised, it doesn't matter if it was our mistake our a glitch or whatever it may be, if we displayed a price online and the customer actually purchased it, we must honor it.
I will be reporting this company to the better business bureau as well as taking them to court!

I had the pleasure of working with James Solis - which is a Spanish name which means sun - so appropriate that he works in a lighting store. He spent lots of time patiently working thru my requests - and the followed up with pics sent to me and then answered my other questions - very impressed. I bought from them years ago and their customer service is excellent and their fans are tops.
