Work is ok, but communication is HORRIBLE. The first time I had them out to my rental property, they didn't show and there was no communication. Owner tried to make excuses but bottom line was he knew they weren't gonna show and he didn't inform me. Owner seemed apologetic (especially after he was concerned about a bad review) so I had them come out a second time to finish the job. Owner texted me he had a cancellation and could they come that day. I responded 20 min later that was ok (had to check w tenants). Never heard anything back. At the end of the day I texted to see how it went and he said they didn't go out after all. Actually did show up the next day and did the work. They found a part that needed to be replaced. He said he'd install it for ""a couple dollars"" (on top of the $675 we had already agreed to). ""A couple dollars"" ended up being $65. Not a huge deal, and he did end up knocking it down some, but it's just another example of poor communication. I won't be using them again.

Eugene is fantastic!!! He was prompt to reply and easy to schedule with. I had requested for him to help me install a portable ac in my garage and even though he was HONEST and said he had done before, he still wanted to figure this out. I needed an outlet moved which was easy and then he did get the ac installed without any help. I will absolutely reach out to Eugene and Empower with future electrical needs and definitely think everyone else should too. Thank you Eugene for making my garage bearable !

Eugene rushed over, arriving like 15 minutes after we called, and was able to diagnose and resolve the primary issue, and discovered and fixed second issue on top of that. In a recent windstorm we lost a tree branch that took out our electrical service. After the utility company retrieved the downed service line they informed us that it couldn't be reconnected because of the damage due to the impact of the branch. We needed an electrician and we needed one fast. I called several companies for estimates to get the work done. Eugene with EMPWR Electric took my call and immediately made time for us. He and his crew arrived first, made an estimate, and were able to begin work before any of the other larger companies could. Eugene was friendly, personable, and talked us through the entire process. Without all of the overhead of the larger companies EMPWR was able to save us a great deal of money and didn't pressure us with overselling work that wasn't necessary. When everything was completed and our service was reconnected he followed up with a phone call and texts. I now have a goto in my contact list for electrical work. EMPWR has won our business.
