Yoni was great. I told him about the electric problem and he was able to quote me the rate over the phone. His rate was very reasonable. I contacted him in the morning and he was able to come over later in the afternoon. He was responsive. I agree with other people that it was hard to find a good independent contractor. I am glad I found one now.

Highly recommend Yoni. He installed two new hard-wired, under counter kitchen lights and installed a new MR-16 ceiling light in the living room. Very efficient and reasonable cost. Would not hesitate to use him - Empire Electric again.

Highly recommend Yoni. An outlet and light stopped working in my kitchen. I thought the issues were related but they were two completely separate troubleshooting issues. As for my recessed lighting, Yoni recommended I upgrade to LED since mine were outdated and finding parts to replace would be difficult (especially in the future as the lights are discontinued). I have to admit, my kitchen lighting is the ugliest thing I have ever seen. I've never seen it anywhere else and I have no idea what idiot chose it (not me). It was a really great recommendation, my kitchen is so much brighter and lights are aesthetically pleasing. When calling and texting Yoni, he was very responsive. He was also very clean. I felt his prices were very reasonable given he's an electrician. He will be the first person I call for electrical needs.

I was referred to Empire Electric and I am really happy with the service I received. I had a list of random electrical things that needed to be done- hanging a chandelier, installing a new electrical outlet for my water heater outside, etc. Yoni showed up on time and was able to complete all the tasks. My electrical outlet made smoke while using the hair dryer. After googling, then calling non-emergency police and PG&E, I called Yoni (pronounce Joni). I explained what happened, then he told me how much he would charge for the investigation and labor. He came over on time and explained to me what was wrong and how it happened. He knew what he was doing and fixed the outlet quickly and also took care of the other outlet I had issue with. I highly recommend him for any electrical problems.
