Elite Electric was started by John and Jackie Pankraz in 1988, driven by a desire to help others with their electrical expertise. John began operating from their home and started taking service calls using Jackie's pickup truck. Together, they expanded their family-owned business, initially focusing on new construction and later branching into residential service and installation.
As the industry changed, we saw new ways to serve our clients, prompting us to add air conditioning services in 2009, proudly becoming Elite Electric & Air. We have been fortunate to attract exceptional technicians and customer service representatives as we have expanded; each team member shares our commitment to serving our clients with integrity. Our aim is to deliver the best client experience possible, so we invest in ongoing training for our team, fostering technical excellence and providing compassionate client care with a smile.

The company could not fix my AC motor. The company kept stating that the unit was not warranties by original company. Their front staff was friendly, helpful, and found the warranty online. I found the warranty online. Their onsight warehouse could not find the warranty and refused to speak to their own front desk about the situation. I was the go between for the front desk and warehouse since the could not speak to each other. On the 8th day (without air) I was told to call the air-conditioning manufacturer, I called another AC company. I tried twice to speak to management; no reply from them. I paid for labor in full, hoping to expedite repair. Since labor was not done, I asked for my $400.00 back, no reply. Had to stop payment through my credit company. Will never call or refer this company, EVER!

Do not call this company. They are scammers. I called because they advertise as being Air Conditioning and Electrical specialists and I had an AC ciircuit breaker that kept tripping. The man named Keith that they sent knew nothing about HVAC systems. The service call of $89.00 was the charge for him to drive to my house. I was then charged an additional $368.32 for what he called level 2 diagnostics that consisted of him flipping the A/C tripping circuit breaker with my dryer circuit breaker. That is all he did!!! And he ordered a new circuit breaker that was going to cost me an additional $350.00. I also was made to sign for. After he left, the prvious dryer circuit breaker now in the AC's slot began tripping. The previously tripping circuit breaker now in the dryer slot has never tripped since. Hence it is not a circuit breaker problem. I looked up the exact circuit breaker they were going to charge me $350.00 for ( and Home Depot carries it for $35.00. That is a 100% markup!!! When I called the company to tell them Keith had incorrectly diagnosed my system and tried to overcharge for a part I did not need. I got no help from management and the business appears to be more of a call center with different people they send out for jobs.
1) poor diagnosing troubleshooting, should not be charged
2) Tried to overcharge for a part they said I needed that will not correct problem.
3) poor management response. Do not believe it when they say %100 customer satisfaction.
4) From the start they should have sent to my house an HVAC person since the A/C circuit was tripping.
5) I found out there was a problem in the EEvalve in the AC unit when another company came out. Elite made me send them all the paperwork on that diagnosis. Yet still has not refunded me for incorrect diagnosis.
Part they tried to charge me $350 .00 for that is the type used in my circuit breaker panel is: CutlerHammer/Eaton model #NE-8911 2 pole, 30 amp, Class CTL type 220/240
Carried at Home Deot for $35.00
Yes this company will take advantage of a sick senior, retired war veteran

The install went well, I paid on cash. The ladies that answer the calls are very friendly and are not responsible for the company not following through After be they got their money. I live in an area that has had flooding in the past. The guys that came out said they brought two different size elevated brackets so the unit was placed on a 4"" concrete slab. I've called several times to see when it would be elevated and are told over and over it will be taken care of, so far empty promises. I had an appointment today for them to do a follow up at 2 to 3 pm, it's now 6:30 pm and still a no show. As I said the ladies that answer the phone say you're next. If they actually show up I will attempt to change this rating.

Yesterday we very politely asked our neighbor if she could have the workmen not ark directly across from our driveway because it made it difficult for us to back out. we are senior citizens, we live n a narrow street, and there was plenty if room for their vehicles without blocking us. well, they moved one of the two vehicles, but the kid didn't move his truck. today, the clown made a point of parking square in back of our driveway, just as i was about t leave. i waved my arms at him and he laughed. then he had what i can only call foul attitude to take my picture as i backed out. i hope he got a good picture of my middle finger. we called the company, but they offered no help and even denied that the guy, who we saw, was the same guy. (if it wasn't the same guy then why did he feel the need to take my picture)? well if this is the kind of help they employ you can be sure they will never do any work n my house, and i suggest others consider the same. I tried to post on their facebook page, but it will not accept comets -- which is hardly a surprise.

Elite electric quoted a price of $3000 to relocate a conduit found during construction. No breakdown of materials and labor to justify $3000. I do not reccomend this company.

Today Richie Casale came to locate the cause of several of my non working outlets. He is extremely friendly, knowledgeable and professional. He also took the time to answer some questions I had about the electrical panel. Once again Elite Electric and Air proved why they come so highly recommended.

Pro: Recently had a new AC unit repaired not installed by Elite Electric but had a warranty part installed in the house and the service technician did an amazing job.
Con: The company is charging an outrageous amount for labor. For 4 hours of labor I was recently charged $929.00 which I think is totally unacceptable. The part was under warranty and just for four hours is totally not good pricing here in this area. Defiantly my first and maybe last time dealing with a company.
Con: Customer service skills over the phone needs to be sharped with this company. If a customer call for details on items being repair would like to know everything up front and not waiting for call back etc. When it came to the bill they were paid up front and it took 4 days for the part to arrive and was promised yesterday as the installation date.

Charging me $89+ to tell me what I already have told them. Then quoting me almost 300$ just for a leak check is ridiculous. Would've been about 400 dollars in with no fix and maybe no answer. What a rip off. Update: found a licensed and insured independent repair man who not only diagnosed but got the part (warranty)(coil in handler)installed and filled up for under 200$ needless to say he got a big tip and gained a loyal customer. Would never recommend elite to anyone. Hopefully this will save someone some time, money and a few gray hair

Prior to my install the salesman Kennard was very accessible, gave his personal cell and would answer calls and text with questions. After the install no such luck. I found some issues with the install, I sent pics via email to @eliteelectricandair and via text to Kennard but to date I have not received a call from Kennard. I asked for the install mgr to Call me 2 days ago to discuss the short cuts their installers did, and I'm still waiting. #eliteelectricandair not as realiable as they seemed.

I don't know what is going on with this company. The techs are always great, and I am used to them telling you one time and showing up at a totally different time, but lately their prices and attitude have been completely unacceptable. I asked them to install a patio fan, a living room light and 2 outside outlets ( the wiring was already done for all of these projects) and they wanted over $2,000! When I refused to hire them for that and just wanted 1 outlet they wanted to charge me $925. The installer got sick and left and they didn't send anyone else.
2 nights later, my very expensive AC unit that they sold me 2 years ago broke down (tonight), and I called for service. They told me that their service PERSON was in Palm Beach and wouldn't be done until after midnight so he couldn't come until tomorrow. So much for 24/7 service!!!! That's a lie. So I will have to stay here in my very hot house tonight with my fibro and arthritis and recent surgery and sweat until tomorrow when it is convenient for them to come. Good thing I am a VIP customer.
