Elite Electric was started by John and Jackie Pankraz in 1988, driven by a desire to help others with their electrical expertise. John began operating from their home and started taking service calls using Jackie's pickup truck. Together, they expanded their family-owned business, initially focusing on new construction and later branching into residential service and installation.
As the industry changed, we saw new ways to serve our clients, prompting us to add air conditioning services in 2009, proudly becoming Elite Electric & Air. We have been fortunate to attract exceptional technicians and customer service representatives as we have expanded; each team member shares our commitment to serving our clients with integrity. We strive to offer the best client experience, which is why we prioritize continuous training for our team, enhancing technical skills and ensuring empathetic client care with a friendly demeanor.

This is the worst company in Florida. A technician came to fix the same problem as a week ago. We got it again. He said that you still have to pay for that again and again and left without fixing anything.

I requested service on my water heater and Danny Calabrese and Rebekah his assistant/trainee came out the next day. Danny found the problem right away and fixed the wiring problem on the water heater and the load shed. Both Danny and Rebekah were personable, professional and efficient. If I have electrical problems in the future I will definitely call and request them personally. Danny also arranged for a plumber to come out tomorrow and give me a free estimate on my plumbing issues. I highly recommend Elite Electric, Plumbing & Air!

My client had new duct work put in his home one month ago by Elite. The temperature in the house was always warm and they came back out and made some kind of adjustment but still didn't rectify the problem. In the meantime, An inspection was done on the property and showed one of the main duct trunks under the house was not even connected. So the crawl space was being cooled while the right side of the house wasn't receiving any cool air. Additionally, another company verified the findings. My client had called Elite to come out again but ended up canceling the appointment concerned they would not do the job correctly. The other company will do the work, instead. After seeing what Elite charged my client and reviewing his invoice, I can only say I would not use this company.

They might do a fine job but I will never know. I scheduled an appointment a week in advance. I called the day before and was told they could not tell me when they were coming but would keep me posted today on their scheduled arrival time. When I had heard nothing by noon, I called them. They said they were short staffed and wouldn't be able to get here today and I would have to reschedule. My time was of no importance to them. They didn't even bother to call to tell me they had to cancel. This must be their promised on time arrival. I will find another vendor who can provide some level of customer service as Elite clearly cannot.

Elite was the 3rd company we called to address electrical issues in our recently purchased home. The first place we'd had out made the problems worse. The second place we called apparently didn't want the work, as it involved tracing connections to isolate problems.
Elite sent Robin to our home. Robin thoroughly looked at each area of concern and gave a detailed estimate of the nature and cost to repair each issue. When he returned to do the work, adjustments were made as work proceeded, both in repairing newly discovered problems and adjusting the costs on things that were less complex than we thought, saving money in the final payment. We now feel confident that our electrical system is functioning properly. We are very happy to have found Elite and highly recommend them.

I would not use this company due to their obnoxious commercial. After reading past negative reviews I can understand. The company has the same obnoxious presentation as the commercial. Who does the teenager on the phone think pays her phone bill.

Stay Way from ELITE Electric , Port St Lucie
Got an estimate today from Elite...They charge $89 just for the estimate..I misunderstood ( but I'm pretty sure she said it would apply to the job ) , it is NOT applied to the job should you accept...
Their quote was more than 50% higher than a previous 5-star rated Electrical contractor's quote. $1150-$1350 with 2 options ( plus the $89) ...5 star competitor , Apex was $875 ( doing exactly what their $1,350 quote is doing )
THEN , they also try to sell you a monthly plan , which I immediately dismissed ...(insurance/maintenance or something...didn't wait for the whole pitch )
I thought first guy might have been high ?? ....NOPE, apparently not !
I will go with AApex....
Worth noting , Elite techs were nice enough and knowledged , no problem with them....
...just waaaay too expensive..
I suspect any good reviews here are planted...

PS.. I posted this review on their Facebook , they deleted it almost immediately
Perhaps I should cancel the check....

If I could give ZERO stars I would. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS!!! Brand new upgraded inside and outside units replaced and we have had an issue EVERY 6 months!!! Now we have a piece milled POS with warranty parts from god knows where! And we are exactly at one year since it was brand new.
Save your money and find someone else.
Our next stop is the lawyer!! I'm already interviewing them now.

The company could not fix my AC motor. The company kept stating that the unit was not warranties by original company. Their front staff was friendly, helpful, and found the warranty online. I found the warranty online. Their onsight warehouse could not find the warranty and refused to speak to their own front desk about the situation. I was the go between for the front desk and warehouse since the could not speak to each other. On the 8th day (without air) I was told to call the air-conditioning manufacturer, I called another AC company. I tried twice to speak to management; no reply from them. I paid for labor in full, hoping to expedite repair. Since labor was not done, I asked for my $400.00 back, no reply. Had to stop payment through my credit company. Will never call or refer this company, EVER!

Do not call this company. They are scammers. I called because they advertise as being Air Conditioning and Electrical specialists and I had an AC ciircuit breaker that kept tripping. The man named Keith that they sent knew nothing about HVAC systems. The service call of $89.00 was the charge for him to drive to my house. I was then charged an additional $368.32 for what he called level 2 diagnostics that consisted of him flipping the A/C tripping circuit breaker with my dryer circuit breaker. That is all he did!!! And he ordered a new circuit breaker that was going to cost me an additional $350.00. I also was made to sign for. After he left, the prvious dryer circuit breaker now in the AC's slot began tripping. The previously tripping circuit breaker now in the dryer slot has never tripped since. Hence it is not a circuit breaker problem. I looked up the exact circuit breaker they were going to charge me $350.00 for ( and Home Depot carries it for $35.00. That is a 100% markup!!! When I called the company to tell them Keith had incorrectly diagnosed my system and tried to overcharge for a part I did not need. I got no help from management and the business appears to be more of a call center with different people they send out for jobs.
1) poor diagnosing troubleshooting, should not be charged
2) Tried to overcharge for a part they said I needed that will not correct problem.
3) poor management response. Do not believe it when they say %100 customer satisfaction.
4) From the start they should have sent to my house an HVAC person since the A/C circuit was tripping.
5) I found out there was a problem in the EEvalve in the AC unit when another company came out. Elite made me send them all the paperwork on that diagnosis. Yet still has not refunded me for incorrect diagnosis.
Part they tried to charge me $350 .00 for that is the type used in my circuit breaker panel is: CutlerHammer/Eaton model #NE-8911 2 pole, 30 amp, Class CTL type 220/240
Carried at Home Deot for $35.00
Yes this company will take advantage of a sick senior, retired war veteran
