In July 1963, Bill Cowherd started his journey as an electrician apprentice in Virginia, finishing the program in July 1967. He ran an electrical contracting business in Northern Virginia from 1968 until relocating to Florida in 1990. After gaining experience at the Cape, he founded Bill Cowherd Electric in March 1994. In 1998, Bill Cowherd and Andrew Hunt came together to form Electrical Energy Systems. Unfortunately, Mr. Hunt left us suddenly in February 2012, and Bill Cowherd has continued to run the business since.

William has been involved in the electrical field since he was six years old. After attending Penn State, he spent four years in the Virginia Electrical Apprenticeship program while working for the family business in 1963. He completed his apprenticeship and has remained in the industry ever since.
