I found Electric Connection on Angie's List rated at the top Angie's List Certified and Super Service Award. As soon as I met John for the free quote, I had a good feeling that everything that was stated in the reviews held true and indeed it has! I am totally delighted with the quality of work. John and his assistant had a number of things I wanted done and they arrived when they said they would and worked right through without even a lunch break to finish up by 2:00; AND not once did the power have to be shut off which really helped with my working from home. I will be calling on Electric Connections again for more work in the future

John and RJ are the best team! John has replaced our electrical panel, installed recessed lights and ceiling fans, wired our hot tub, and so much more. He charges fair prices and does quick, quality, clean work. I have nothing but good things to say!

I cannot recommend Electric Connection, the owner John and his assistant R.J. enough! We bought our new home (built in 1935) earlier this year and it was immediately apparent that we were going to need all new electrical to make the home our own - we have solar panels to install and a Chevy Volt hybrid. The house came with an old FPE Stablok Panel which was never going to work - seriously Google those panels, they are responsible for fires and deaths and are out of business for a reason - and had electrical wiring ""draping"" overhead from the house to the garage about 6.5 feet off the ground. You could easily reach up and electrocute yourself, or walk through the driveway with, say a ladder and electrocute yourself. So we contacted E.C. and John was super friendly and professional, taking the time to explain everything he needed to do and why he needed to do it. On the day he showed up, I expected they might, maaaaybe get a few things done...but was surprised when after a day's work they had completely run all new conduit, trenched for the new sub panel in our garage (for the new car charger) installed the main and sub panel....seriously far more work than I thought they would get done. It was ready for inspection day one. After inspection they came back out and in one more day routed all the new wiring and installed the breakers and the house, new garage outlets and car charger were fully operational. And not only was it done but it was done exceptionally well. Take a look at the pics. These guys are rock stars and we will DEFINITELY hire them again when we get some other minor work done in the future.

I had Electric Connection out at my house, doing various electrical jobs including a new electrical panel box. They were very professional, fast, and clean. They had a great nature about themselves, its almost like you've known them your whole life and were having friends over to do the work. We are having them back next month...we decided to add some more electrical features to our house. John and his assistant RJ did a big job at my home, which includes a complete panel swap and adding an underground 220 volt line to the back of the property for a new spa. To say John did a good job would be an understatement, his attention to detail and detective work found a couple new items that needed to be addressed, one being a undersized wire to the AC unit and two, a romex wire in the attic which was installed right over the cross beams that double as the walking path. John and RJ cleaned up well, their bends in their galvanized metal tubing were very precise and they used high quality products and they proved it. I was around them quite a bit while working on my own internet wiring projects and fixing of the sprinklers in the backyard and got to know the guys a bit on a personal level, I have to say I know I hired the right guys for the job. The last thing I said to them before they drove away is that I was proud of the work they did at my home. Hire them, you'll thank me for it.

HONEST people! John's second opinion saved me $600.00 by telling me the truth. I had another local electrician tell me I needed work done on a outlet, John came by to look at it for me and said it didn't need any work. I had John look at some work done by the previous electrician, John could have done the job and saved me $500.00 and would have done better work. The previous electrician didn't tell me to get a permit before the work, John explained to me how the process works getting a permit, he took time to come by my house and didn't even charge me, I gave him $20.00 anyway because he saved me $600.00. I will most definitely call Electric Connection for future electrical needs!

On a rainy Tuesday morning, the power in our kitchen went out. I flipped the breakers in the very old circuit box, but I could not get one of them to go all the way off/on so the power to the kitchen stayed off. I checked the reviews on Yelp (also Angie's List) and decided to call Electric Connection. John Seccombe answered my call and made time in his busy day to come to help us! Of course, it was that one breaker causing the problem. John was able to do what I could not & we quickly had a functioning kitchen! He was on time, professional, and courteous. At my request, he also gave me an estimate for a new box, breakers, and all that is required with that project. I would definitely call John again with no hesitation for electrical work. PS: the phone posted on Angie's List (916-526-3225) did not work! I did call the number on Yelp (916-988-4477) and John answered on the 3rd ring!
