We had Electric Connection do some work at our home several years ago. We recently moved and there were some things we didn't like at the new house. Without hesitation we contacted them to do the electrical work. John showed up right on time and came with everything he could possibly need to complete all the jobs we had for him. We came up with a few extra requests while he was here, and he arrived with such a well-stocked truck that he had the additional supplies needed to do them too. John was very professional and pleasant. After he left I tried out all the new switches, light fixtures and dimmer switches he installed. Everything looks and works great. And best of all, he charged us much less than we expected for all the labor and materials!

We just bought a house that had some 'creative' wiring, and was missing some needed outlets, and we needed a good electrician. We were referred to Electric Connection by another contractor and what a fabulous referral it was! John came over to take a look at what we needed and wanted - wrote us up an itemized list of the repairs and the costs for each repair. We were able to then pick and choose the repairs we needed done first, and wait for others that weren't needed immediately. We needed a lot done and ours was a 2 day job.

I'll say this - I am not easily impressed at all. But John impressed the hell out of me! He started by going through our list of repairs, made sure that he knew exactly what we wanted, made changes to a few things that took money off the repair list - who does that?? An ethical person, that's who!

Long story short - John quickly took care of repairs in a beautifully organized manner, cleaned up any messes (not all contractors do that...!), and ensured that everything was done right (yes, we had him check every single outlet in the house and he did have to fix a couple for safety), and that we were safe. And when I asked him if the other things on our list that we decided to wait on were truly necessary, he said absolutely not! So, he turned down what would have been an expensive job because his ethics are that good.

Electric Connection (John) is our number 1 choice for electric work. I highly recommend him for your next job!

He works great with SMUD and knows their technicians, which makes large projects really effortless for the homeowner.

They are so good that it's a wait to get an appointment with him to come out but when your appt time comes, he's right on time and the job is done great and for the estimate given. He and his assistant even enjoyed my dog who was shouting orders at them to play tug-o-war with him. They are animal lovers too which is a plus for me.

Highly recommend this company! Great and friendly service, good communication, showed up on time (early even!) The job took a little more than expected and yet they were still done within the timeframe estimated. Ensured everything was safe, clean, and done right. And easily half the cost of 5 other quotes we got for same work. Appreciate that they don't believe in gauging people just because it's a busy season! I'm usually a pretty paranoid and skeptical person when trying to find contractors etc, but this company passes with flying colors. Will definitely be doing more business with them in the future.
