Honestly don't know why anyone would hire anyone else. Duke was quick to respond to our requests for a quote and was thoughtful about the work involved. He, and Eddie and George fit us in with short notice and installed a new ceiling fan in a high ceiling above our stairs. They moved the existing wiring box to the center of the area and installed the fan with all the extra wall controls we wanted. After the install, Eddie pointed out that the downrod we selected might put the fan at a level that may be too low for our stairwell and he was right! Duke custom cut the downrod and they reinstalled the fan to the perfect height.

I needed a ceiling fan installed. Duke responded immediately and added me to the schedule. The installation price was very reasonable. The other installer wanted me to wait two weeks - canceled that to go with Duke.

They also arrived early - who does that? The installers were courteous and professional. They had tarps for the floor and boot covers to protect the floors. They did a thorough job of testing the fan and cleaning up. The fan is more stable than the previous installation. Would definitely hire them again!

Duke's expertise was invaluable in helping us determine the optimal placement for recessed lights throughout our home, enhancing both functionality and ambiance. They removed all unused old devices (security system, bell box), wires sticking out of walls and upgraded switches and sockets through the house. They also upgraded our home's sub-panel. His team collaborated effectively with other teams working on-site simultaneously. They were punctual and completed the work within the agreed-upon timeline. Highly recommended for homeowners with limited knowledge in this field!

Duke came and assed the job. He researched what he needed to install a generator transfer switch, but had a few questions about which generator I had and exact locations for my aesthetics so came back a second time to review with me. The third time he came back with his crew of two guys. All three were professional, friendly, and good English, which is a plus for me. Duke stayed through most of the install until he knew his crew were on course. After everyone left (nice clean job by the way), I had a miss-wiring of some of the circuits. This was my fault due to some mislabeling, I called and Duke came back same day to fix. What else could anyone want? I would definitely hire him again

The outlets in my kitchen kept tripping the breaker so the outlets need to be separated into different circuits. After removing the cover plate, Duke discovered an unused wire that was capped off. He disclosed his finding and suggested we use that wire instead of running a new wire to the breaker. The cost was significantly reduced. I appreciate that Duke was forthcoming and suggested a solution that was significantly cheaper.

Asked Duke Electric by to diagnose a couple of problems. They were very quick to repsond initially and had someone out within a business day. The team that came out successfully diagnosed and fixed the first problem, but we discovered after they left that the second problem was not solved. Paid them in full and asked them to please reschedule a second visit to fix the remaining problem. No response for over a week even though we followed up with them a second time to get on their schedule. They have a ton of great reviews on Yelp, so our experience was an outlier, but couldn't give them 5 stars due to failure to fix the second problem and failure to timely respond to a follow up visit request.

We needed some electrical work in our master closet (we inherited a messy/unfinished networking panel and zero outlets). Our closet looks beautiful now with the networking panel that contains all our networking gear hidden away. Duke provided a lot of advice and a great value in comparison to other companies we met with. Would love to work with him again for future electrical needs. Thanks!
