Duke Electrical upgraded my electrical panel from a 100 amp to a 200 amp. Duke along with his team of Eddie and George did a great job. With PG&E being backlogged from the winter storms, it took about 2 months to finally get the approval. Duke did a good job keeping on top of them to assure we were not dropped through the cracks. My house was built in 1961 and several circuits were previously added that were not to code standards. Because of this, Duke ran into several challenges and was resourceful in getting them resolved. Duke took the time to assure the work was done using best practices and to assure everything was done to code. Duke's stucco contractor did an excellent job matching up with the existing wall. The picture shows the stucco work however, I have not finished the touch up paint yet.

Duke scheduled and monitored the 3 City inspections which took the extra work off me.

I definitely recommend Duke Electrical. They came through with excellent results. Duke sets an example for doing business with integrity and honesty. He was a pleasure to work with.

Duke came around with Eddie and Jorge. Professional fast and courteous. I had installed a 80A EV charger and I was worried about the wires being undersized. Duke mentioned that he upsized the wires to #2 to carry more current cooler so that we can switch out the 80A breaker to a higher current one if needed. I'd get Duke to come out again in the future if needed.

After evaluating five electricians, all highly rated on Yelp, I chose Duke because he helped identify how to do the wiring I needed (2 dedicated 240v lines) in a way that enabled another line to be added more easily in the future. Duke supervised the work, and personally jumped in to solve a couple of difficult spots. His crew was excellent: polite and efficient. I particularly enjoyed how they communicated with each other within the work group with humor and kindness. During the work, Duke offered to help install an induction cooktop, including enlarging the opening left after removing the gas cooktop, without additional charge.

The work entailed rerouting some electrical wiring. The complication was the cabinetry. Duke did an excellent job of doing the minimal drilling to get the job done. They did a clean work of the carpentry and cleaned up afterwards.
