I've used Duke Electric for several projects small and large. The small ones involved replacing a thermostat, a circuit breaker, and outlets. The largest project involved re-doing the electric wiring in the whole house.

I have been impressed with the work and Duke explained and made great suggestions on what products to use. I would highly recommend the company for any kinds of electrical projects.

The 5 star reviews for Duke are getting a bit redundant, but nonetheless, here's another. I hired Duke to run a new dedicated circuit to a bath for a GFI hair dryer outlet & add a switch for a new exhaust fan. He & another contractor weren't enamored of the quality or age of my Stab-Lok sub-panel in the garage. I got a quote from Duke and another contractor to replace it. His quote seemed reasonable along with the bathroom work I wanted done.

We agreed to the job & Duke had the permit within 24 hours & started the job the day after. Power was off in the house for only about 5 hours to replace the sub-panel. He also found a couple of wire routing items that weren't to his liking once he took some of the sheet rock off around the panel. It was clear that the items now visible would require more time & parts expense, but he refused my offer for additional money above our contract price. When he was finished, he'd buried two separate wire runs inside the wall that the previous contractors put on the outside, because they were too lazy to do the job correctly.

Duke had the complete job done in 2 days & wanted to make sure my wife was happy with the bathroom switch type, which he changed out at her request.

I can highly recommend Duke. Stand-up guy. No nonsense. Started and finished quickly and didn't run off to another job before mine was done. His workmanship was very professional.

I recommend him without hesitation.

Duke did an amazing job at our house, he was fast and professional. He was able to make great suggestions we didn't think of which was awesome to get a professionals input. He came and installed can lights for our entire house. He was super knowledgeable, honest and great to work with. He is very responsive and quick to return calls/ text. Highly recommend Duke.

I have rated it 5 stars because of the professionalism in repair and knowledge Duke had in our control panel repair. He also helped in having this replacement covered through insurance! He is very honest and helpful person as well

We had Duke come over to install ceiling fans at home. He did an excellent job and stayed till he configured all the remotes to work with the multiple fans. His pricing was also reasonable.
I'm definitely going to have him come back again because we need two more fans installed.

We called Duke when we needed to upgrade our main panel on our house. He was prompt in returning my calls, showed up on time (or early!) to every scheduled meeting, and was very professional. Duke had a lot of experience working with the inspectors at the City of Campbell and did all of the leg work to get the permit himself. He finished all of the work in record time and much to our satisfaction. He was also competitively priced with every quote that we received for the work. We'd recommend Duke for any electrical project and plan to use him again in the future.

This review is really late and I apologize. We used Duke last fall to put in an electric car charger, new outlets in the garage and replaced our electric panel. He was the second electrician that we called after we were unhappy with the first one who wanted to do a lazy job. Duke informed us that our electrical panel had been recalled and encouraged us to google it, the other one didn't even tell us any of this. After he gave us our estimate on the car charger and outlets, we did look it up and it was recalled. We called up and said that we would like it replaced also. The was done over 2 different days. Duke filed the paperwork with PG&E and did an awesome job. We will call him again when we have any electrical needs. Highly Recommended!!

I wish I could give Duke Electric a good review. After all, when I called my repair work was scheduled just a few days out, so I was impressed with the responsiveness. The problem was... Duke was a no show. After waiting an hour I tried to call but the voicemail box was full. Then I texted him. I waited 2 hours then called someone else. When Duke called back the next day, I told him I had scheduled another company to do the work.

Duke has lots of good reviews on Yelp so I assume he knows his stuff. But I was stood up and thought people should know this.

Duke was very quick and super helpful! He identified why one room no longer had any working plugs and swiftly fixed the issue.

I'll be using him the next time my husband blows a fuse - or I have any other electrical problems.

Duke himself comes to your house. Get ready for a treat. The guy is super nice, knowledgeable and courteous. PG&E had an accident and a surge went through the entire house. He fixed the burned boxes and transformers and then suggested other trades to call to fix the blown appliances. Awesome business owner, and tradesman.
