Our company began by Wiley and Lois in Texas in 1974, subsequent to they took an invitation to purchase the climate control, appliance, and water well units from the Langford, where he had been employed for 10 years. In the beginning, Wiley D'Spain had an natural talent for all things mechanical and a true love for wind power, having spent his youth on a farm in a adjacent area. Lois spent her childhood in east Texas and later moved to Bandera after a memorable trip one year. She and Wiley had been together for more than two decades before launching the company. Wiley managed all of the air conditioning, appliance systems, and water well offerings and support, while she managed all the accounting tasks. Putting in nights and Saturdays and Sundays after her primary employment, she oversaw all the financial as well as financial tasks of the enterprise. In 1983, we moved to our current location at 804 Eleventh St. in Bandera. Moving into the 3,500 sq. ft. space provided us with the extra capacity essential to store and provide more solutions to our community, as well as a custom water solutions division to support ranchers, producers, and residents.
