D'Spain Sales & Service, Inc. began by Wiley and Lois D'Spain in Bandera, Texas in the year 1974, after they embraced an opportunity to purchase the climate control, appliance systems, and water well units from the Langford Hardware, where he had been employed for a decade. Initially, Wiley had an innate skill for all things related to mechanics and a true passion for wind energy, having grown up on a ranch in a local county. She grew up in the eastern part of Texas and later moved to Bandera after a delightful stay one summer. The couple had been in union for more than two decades before launching the enterprise. Wiley D'Spain handled all of the air conditioning, appliance services, and well water product sales and support, while she performed all the financial practices. Putting in nights and Saturdays and Sundays after her main job, Lois D'Spain oversaw all the accounting and financial responsibilities of the business. As a leader within the business, he motivates and rewards his employees for each license they earn. Wiley and his team engage in regular education as well as the state. During 1983, we moved to our current site at 804 Eleventh St in Bandera, TX. Moving into the 3,500 sq. ft. facility gave us the additional room required to stock and provide more solutions to our community, as well as a specialized water system division to help landowners, cultivators, and residents. The electrical systems contracting grew into a separate unit in order to oversee and finish projects in a effective and organized manner.
