Dobbs & Company was acquired in 1999, in October from Ronald Terry Electric, Inc. In January 2012 to our current name. We specialize in domestic, corporate, and manufacturing work.

Our owner, Greg is a local of Morgan County and the youngest child of David and Wonda Dobbs. He grew up in a construction-oriented family, as his father was involved in the trade industry in North Alabama for over four decades. Before purchasing Ronald Terry Electric, Greg worked one of the largest industrial electrical contractors in the area. His background included roles as an industrial electrician in high-voltage systems, PLC programming, and systems design. In his final years with the company, he served as the lead electrical estimator. He has experience in steel mills, the auto industry, aerospace, copper fabrication, appliance manufacturing, grain processing, the chemical and film industry, cryogenic systems, and the tech industry. With this wide-ranging experience from fieldwork to management, it was a natural progression for him to start his own business.
