Flat rate charges is set to ensure that the service provider is adequately compensated, not the customer. For example, if our flat rate to install your main breaker panel is $1,800 and it takes only half the time, you are the one who pays more. Such pricing are established to cover the most challenging conditions to ensure the contractor profits. Although it might appear fair, if your needs do not necessitate a worst-case scenario, you shouldn’t have to pay for it. Our billing process is based on actual job costs with a reasonable markup and tax. You obtain what you pay for and we receive what we have earned.

Our business was taken over in the fall of 1999 from Ronald Terry Electric, Inc. In January 2012 to Dobbs & Company. Our services cover home, commercial, and manufacturing work.

Greg Dobbs is a proud resident of Morgan County and the youngest child of David and Wonda Dobbs. Having grown up in a construction-focused family, as his father worked in the construction industry in North Alabama for over four decades. Prior to purchasing Ronald Terry Electric, Greg was employed one of the top industrial electrical contractors in the area. His experience included work as an industrial electrician in high-voltage environments, PLC programming, and systems design. As he concluded his time with the company, he served as the chief estimator for electrical projects. He has experience in steel mills, the car manufacturing industry, aerospace, copper tubing, appliance manufacturing, food production, the chemicals and film industry, cryogenic systems, and the tech industry. Given his diverse experience from practical experience to supervisory roles, it was a clear path for him to establish his own business.
