When you face electrical issues, you deserve the confidence of an expert who will identify your problem and get your system back to normal as soon as possible. We avoid flat rate billing. This pricing model is designed to ensure that the service provider is adequately compensated, not the customer. For instance, if our flat rate to replace your main breaker panel is $1,800 and it requires only half the time, you are the one at a disadvantage. These rates are determined to cover the absolute worst conditions to guarantee the contractor profits. This might look fair, if your needs do not require a worst-case scenario, you shouldn’t have to pay for it. Our billing process is based on real job costs with a reasonable markup and tax. You obtain what you pay for and we receive what we have worked for.

Our business was acquired in 1999, in October from Ronald Terry Electric, Inc. We rebranded in January 2012 to Dobbs & Company Electrical Contractors, Inc.. Our services cover residential, corporate, and manufacturing work.

Greg is a proud resident of Morgan County and the youngest child of David and Wonda Dobbs. Greg grew up in a building family, as his father worked in the trade industry in North Alabama for over four decades. Prior to purchasing Ronald Terry Electric, Greg was employed one of the biggest industrial electrical contractors in the area. His experience included roles as an industrial electrician in high-voltage environments, PLC programming, and systems design. As he concluded his time with the company, he served as the chief estimator for electrical projects. Greg has also worked steel mills, the car manufacturing industry, aircraft manufacturing, copper fabrication, appliance manufacturing, food production, the chemicals and film industry, cryogenic systems, and the electronic industry. With this wide-ranging experience from fieldwork to leadership, it was a logical step for him to launch his own business.
