I was assigned this service through American Home Shield. I told the individual what the issue was with my fan, she said she needed to send someone out. He came by, 6:45 AM - woke up my kids and moved them to another room, said that the authorization was for a different type of ceiling fan and that he will come back. He never came back. he reported to the company that we had ""abused"" the fan because it was shorted, and that it was not normal wear and tear. What does that mean? It is shorted and that is normal wear and tear. I feel like companies like this take accounts with American Home Shield to screw the consumer. They also sent a bill for $75.00 for his 3 minutes of doing nothing. This is a poor way to run a business.

Started off promising. Nikolay showed up on time, was friendly, and tried to assess the issue. He couldn't and said he'd come back once he had checked with the insurance company that sent him. This was a Friday and he said he'd call Monday. He never did. I called him and someone hung up on me. I figure he was either scamming the insurance company or just didn't want to take on a potentially problematic job. I hired another electrician who solved the problem in 20 minutes.

This company was unprofessional from the scheduler to the worker who never showed up for the job. I was assigned this company through American Home Shield like some other reviewers. The scheduler called me the day before to confirm that they would be at my house between 7am & 11am but never bothered to ask me any details about my electrical problem before she abruptly hung up the phone before I could ask any questions. On the day the work was to be done, I waited at home from 7am to 11am and the technician was a no-show. I called DNZ Property Services and was told they would call the technician and find out where he was. I never heard back from them after 20 minutes, so I decided to call American Home Shield to express my displeasure. After putting me on hold in order to speak with DNZ, they were told that their technician had an accident and asked me if I wanted to re-schedule. I find it hard to believe that the technician had an accident after reading other Yelp reviews stating that their technician was a no-show on more than one occasion as well.
I don't want DNZ Property Services anywhere near my property in the future! I'm also having doubts about American Home Shield's selection of contractors.

Tried multiple times to get this person to come address an electrical problem at my house. He scheduled me twice and never showed or called. I should've learned after the first no-show, but after the second I called another electrician who came and completed the job next day. Good luck trying to get him to show up at your house to do any work.

I was assigned this company through American Home Shield. Nikolaj, the owner called to setup an appointment. Everything was set but he never showed. I've called and scheduled an appointment with the receptionist. Again, no show. What kind of company sets up appointments and does a no show? Unprofessional, horrible customer service, please don't waste your time!!!

Yikes! I try not to give bad reviews, but you should be warned that this is not a very professional company. Looking at other reviews, sounds like if you can manage to get ahold of them and get them to honor an appointment, they might be fine. I wouldn't know, since they didn't honor my appointment, even after I'd made arrangements to have my pets taken care of for the day.

I had to use this company though American Home Shield. Clearly they have a contract with that company and don't feel the need to worry about customer service.

I spoke with a woman on the phone yesterday to make arrangements. I told her I would not be home but I would leave a code for the key box. I told her I could not remember the code right then, but she said no problem, the technician would call me a half hour before he would arrive and I could give it to him them.

The technician called this morning, and when I went to give him the code, he said I had to be at home. I told him I had spoken with the office and they knew I was leaving a code.

He said, ""No you didn't ma'am, I was standing right next to her when she was on the phone with you.""

The receptionist and I had talked for a few minutes about the code, so either he has a bad memory or wasn't there. Either way, DUDE STRAIGHT UP CALLED ME A LIAR.

I told him I could not be present and he said, ""Well I can't be in your house without you there"" which sounded sketchy to me.

After I got off the phone with him, I tried to call the office to speak with the receptionist again. and imagine my surprise when it went straight to voicemail. I called from another number, also went to voicemail. It's not even a company voicemail, but the standard robot voicemail.

This is an extremely unprofessional company. Beware.

Worst plumber ever!
We used this company to fix water leak in kitchen sink and low water pressure in bathroom. Plumber from the company was not only unable to fix the problems for three weeks, but also damage the faucet assembly. He was so rude and irresponsible. Finally, he gave up the job leaving my kitchen & bathroom chaotic. I complained to his manager multiple times, but he didn't care much. Please, please avoid this company.

Assigned through home warranty protection plan.
Scheduled an appointment.

Showed up twice, on two different days, unannounced NOT on the scheduled appointment time. No phone call or voicemail. No one was there to meet him because no appointment. Never got a straight answer on this one...
Missed scheduled appointment. No phone call, No voicemail. I called 4 times & left 2 voice mails. No response.

Spoke to company day after appointment missed. They said they missed appointment because they were too busy (I was the first appointment of the day). Indicated they will check schedule & get back to me within 30 minutes regarding next soonest appointment.
Never heard back. After about 3 hours I called (No answer), left voicemail indicating their service was no longer required.

My expectation was that we schedule an appointment & I take whole day off...if you run late (which is weird since it's the first appointment of the day scheduled from 8 AM to noon)...just give me a call & we will work it out; either later that day or another day. Not a problem. If no answer, leave a voicemail & I will respond as this is a top priority.

I discontinued service because I didn't trust the company doing work on my home.
Honestly, I didn't feel the technician (Nikolai) was being straight with me. Poor level of organization & professionalism.

This company is part of my home warranty plan. They have terrible...no, non-existing service. No call back after multiple calls from me and Old Republic. I called to change this provider. I don't want them coming to my house. I finally got ahold of Nikolay this morning. He said he had no appointments in my area today after he told Old Republic Thursday is when he works my area. No call to make appointment, nothing! I think he is just trying to out of making the drive. Don't say you service a area if your really don't want to go Nikolay.

American Home Shield sent this company out to fix a sewage leak. The guy who came looked into the opening of my crawlspace said it was damp but he said it's not the sewage because he doesn't smell anything. I told him that the bathrooms are distal to the leak and that only the kitchen faucet is proximal so there wouldn't be a smell. Moreover, the leak is very small and next to the foundation wall and that he has to go inside the crawlspace to see it. He adamantly refused to go into the crawlspace and says that he can see the sewage pipe from here. He states that the foundation is new and the sewage pipe is new and there would not be a leak. He also says the pipe is strong plastic and would not break. How can anyone make a statement that strong plastic cannot have a break?? I told him my foundation is 1940s and not new. I asked him again to go into the crawlspace to look at that area on my photo to see the small leak with the sewage pipe going into the foundation. He again refused. This is very sloppy work to make a diagnosis of something without even going into the crawl space to actually see and feel for the leak.
