I would give 0 stars if Yelp allowed. American Home Shield sent Nicolai for an electrical issue. He spent less than 10 minutes at our home and said, oh I have to get approval from American Home Shield because this will require more work than the original service call. He advised that he would call back once he got the approval. Needless to say, he never called back, attempted to call him and some woman answered and said that he was waiting on a part, which was a lie. We ended up being charged $100.00 by American Home Shield and he did NO Work. Total fraud. American Home Shield finally spoke with him and he advised that it would cost us an additional $500.00 to fix the outlet. By that time, another reputable and honest electrician came out and fixed the outlet for approx $100.00. So why would DMZ say it would be $500.00? Totally dishonest and unprofessional. Do not use them unless you want to be ripped off. American Home Shield cancelled as well, can't trust the people they send.

DNZ came out thru my home warranty company. Nikolay was very professional and he fixed my lighting problem in no time. He replaced a bad breaker and made sure that all lights and plugs were working before he left. I would certainly call him to do other electrical jobs around my home. Thank you DNZ Property Services.

The electrician that American Home Shield sent to me was outstanding. I had no power in most of my rental kitchen. He rolled up in a fully equipped truck with all of the necessary items that I needed to repair an entire electrical panel and outlets. His attitude was terrific and he was quick to diagnose the problem. The home I live in has no warranty however I now choose this company to service all of my needs. Thank you again Nikolay.

Don't walk - run away from this ""electrician."" We booked him through our home warranty company American Home Shield. He showed up without any tools, as if to already prove he would be doing zero of the work we had made the appointment for. He walked in, stared pensively at our overhead dining light fixture, and said, ""it's probably the transformer."" I didn't know you could make a diagnosis by staring. He flipped the light switch on-and-off as if to prove this. Mind you, we had already told him we had removed the light bulbs from the fixture. He then proceeded to give us 101 reasons as to why he couldn't diagnose or fix the issue (whatever that issue may be), He said, ""halogen lights are bad,"" and, ""it's not worth repairing a transformer,"" and ""this will require authorization."" When I offered to call American Home Shield he said ""good luck, it'll take 2 hours to get through."" When I called, as he was standing in my living room, and a customer service rep did answer the phone his next excuse was that ""I need to get authorization myself,"" and he literally ran out the door. This guy is a complete SCAM.

The first visit appeared to go well: changed out a breaker and my AC started working, but then it stopped the next day. DNZ blamed the AC repair guys, who came out 3 different times and said the problem was electrical. I waited 5 days for DNZ to get to my house again; they said everything was fine and that I needed a new AC unit. AC guys come out again, confirmed it was an electrical issue, I take ANOTHER day off from work to wait for DNZ, and he no showed. I finally called another electrician, who came out in 15 minutes, charged me a fair price and discovered that the screws were never tightened when DNZ installed the breaker! All in all, I went over 3 weeks without AC, in heat over 100 degrees and missed 5 days of work because a wired had not been tightened properly.

I just bought a house.. a 100 year old house... and I am not learning how to fix things quick enough to tackle the challenges myself.. thus I've needed to trust the honesty of strangers- ugh!

Luckily, I bought a home warranty and put it to very good use! Both times I filed a claim for an electrician, I received Nikolay as my electrician.

First off, I love that he is available super early in the morning- AND he shows up right on time! Both times he was super punctual, extremely courteous and thoughtful and was professional and knowledgeable and kind.. he didn't dumb things down for me but he took the time to explain the issue and what options were available to tackle them. The second visit, he even saved me tons of time and money by helping fix something that technically might not have been his job to do so (thank you thank you!)

I would definitely recommend Nikolay for any electrical needs. Both times the issue ended up being smaller and cheaper than anticipated- which to me, means he is honest and ethical in addition to all of the above!

Nikolay is fantastic. His company is by far the best vendor my home warranty company has ever sent out. He went beyond my expectations. He made sure all my electrical problems were fixed. He was professional and honest. I highly recommend him and will use him again.

they serviced our property via home warranty company. When they contacted the tenants, they got the name address wrong on two separate phone calls when scheduling the appointment. I requested a service for upstairs bathroom electric issues (lights). he showed up and told the tenants that he was there for appliance exhaust issues, not to fix lights. He then told the home warranty people that he went out there to replace light tubes and that was not his job. I explained to the home warranty people that why would i pay 75 bucks for someone to go there to simply replace light tubes that were not broken.

He then gave home warrant company some bullshit excuse the connectors were partially covered by some paint therefore not functioning correctly. I asked the warranty people if that's the case how come he didn't take the time to scrape off the paint and test out if the lights worked afterwards? he didn't do anything but simply lied to the tenants and walked off with 75 dollars service fee that he didn't deserve.

The electrician person has no clue what he went out there to the property for and made up some lies after realizing he isn't competent enough to fix the necessary issues. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. UNPROFESSIONAL.,

Nikolay is the best! We have had a very unusual electrical problem which basically would have left our house without any power. Nikolay went above and beyond the call of duty by coming on Mothers Day at 6:30 a.m. He got our power back and has continued to help us through this inconvenience until our parts arrive. I'd give 6 stars if I could. Thank you!
