Best service I've received in a long time. Dave was out to my house within an hour of my call. He was on his way to another job but said he would stop by my house to check things out. He took less than 5 minutes to assess the situation. Noticed the issue was due a broken neutral wire on the PG&E pole. Gave me the PG&E number and told me exactly what to tell them. Dave called me later that evening to make sure everything turned out ok. And he didn't charge me for anything! Can't ask for better service than that! And thank you to PG&E who was out that same day to fix the problem. Very glad I now have a great electrician to call when needed!

Dave Christie is a very sincere and responsive craftsman. He is thorough and listened to our concerns. He offered to let us use a sample fixture in our kitchen; and when we decided not to use it or do the work in the kitchen, he told us to keep it.

He has done work in setting up a sound system at our house and moving electrical outlets.

Excellent work. Dave diagnosed and fixed a burnt wire in a junction box that had eluded two other electricians. Apparently the work was quicker and easier than the original bid, so we even ended up saving money. Due to all the landslides, Dave needed to emergency work and thus reschedule, but he called on a Sunday to reschedule, which was really appreciated. Honest, on time, and fixes things - what more could you ask for in an electrician?

Last month, we had a small job in our home in Rio Del Mar: 2 bathroom lights needed to be installed. Dave / Direct Electric, came out and put them up; total bill: around $180.

Because DE did such a great job, we asked for an estimate for 13 can lights to be put in the entry, kitchen, dining room, hallway, and laundry room. Again, DE was fantastic, installing all the lights in about 5-6 hours; total bill: around $2,800.
