I had a several small jobs that needed to be done for my new house. I contacted a few contractors and handymen, they either didn't response to my calls or no reply after visit. James replied my request within the same day and scheduled a visit the next day. After walk through, he sent me a quote with labor and material cost of each job. Those jobs took 3 days and 3 different teams to complete. Diego's team, Dwight's team, and Joe's team arrived on time each day. They reviewed and confirmed all details before they started. They were so professional and always clean up after they finished. I highly recommend Diablo Valley Handyman and look forward to working with them again.

I must start out by saying I was very impressed the D V Handyman service that I received. I called around getting prices, quotes, from various other companies. For what i feel is a small job, needless to say I was getting the much bigger job quotes, had a little problem in my guess bathroom with the sink. Yes i did try and fix it my self went to home depot picked up what i thought i need for the quick job ""S M H"" lol well ... I didn't have all the correct tools. So I call around to see how much $$$ it would cost. Came across Yelp and saw the reviews for D V Handyman very reasonable $$ .. The company sent out 2 guys Mondo & Diego , needless to say they came right in went to work completed the job and cleaned up my work as well. Great work , nice price happy customer.. David & Lessie.

I have been working with Diablo Valley Handyman on several projects. These guys are greatly needed now of days. They are the ones who close deals in home sells, simply because they can get the work done; whatever may be holding a home up from closing they usually can fix. If not they refer me qualified companies that can. The reason I love them so much is basically whatever I pay them to do, I at least double my return in property value. Hey James, can't wait to book you guys for the next project look out for my call.

You're always a little skeptical with ""handymen"" but Dwight is a professional hands downs. The work he did was very good and thorough. I would highly recommend his services to anyone.

I had an air condition issue and James trouble shot the issue which turned out to simply be a broken thermostat. He fixed it in a timely manner and cleaned up VERY well after the fixing and installation which is greatly appreciated. Also he correctly figured out the problem without guessing and having to do several costly visits. I highly recommend James but be aware he is busy so book you service and don't expect he sits around not busy. He fills calls fast but book your issue with details in advance of possible for optimum scheduling for everyone. Highly recommend and he take digital payment via Venmo so I did not even have to mail a check or be around when he finished which was nice.

I hired them for more work.... Installed new towel bars and ensures they were secured into the wall studs so they would not pull off with use over time. Always does high quality work and will advise as to optimal equipment and method of fixing so things last. This guy does high quality work and I highly recommend.

I'm a little late writing this, but the fact I'm still writing this after a month says a lot! I looked around for prices and they had the most reasonable ones. I was able to get a weekend appointment, without an extra charge which I REALLY appreciated. My initial appointment was cancelled due to there not being enough appointments that day which I was initially upset about since I had been dealing with electrical problems for a month and wasn't able to get anyone. But they were able to get me the weekend after, and I am glad that ultimately I went with this service and the other ones didn't work out.

I had issues with a light in my bedroom and an adjacent bathroom and had no idea what caused it. Joe came through and really worked his magic! It took awhile to figure out since, come to find out, the wiring in my house was done horribly. Joe taught me a lot along the way and was patient and I really appreciated him teaching me so now I know better in the future. He was a genuinely nice person which always helps when you have someone working in your house for hours.

On top of that he only charged me a couple of hours even though he worked longer and I GREATLY appreciated that. Electrical issues can be very stressful and this particular situation was for me due to the fact my wiring could have caused a fire. I feel so much more relieved that Joe worked on it and did it the right way - and now I plan on checking all outlets/switches to make sure everything is done properly. Thank you again.

From receiving an initial quote to seeing the finished product, Diablo Valley Handyman was fantastic!

James and his team are respectful, trustworthy and skilled to take on any job - big or small.

We wanted our fireplace RE-faced and wanted to add a floating mantel. We needed a chandelier hung and our jacuzzi bathtub fixed.

Within 3 days all of the projects were complete. The brick work and floating reclaiming beam over the fireplace look amazing. The chandelier looks awesome too AND the jacuzzi tub works again!

Can't give these guys enough stars.
