i was unable to return a breaker switch to the on position, so I didn't use those outlets. When I called Chris, he told me that I probably wasn't pushing the switch correctly. He told me how to reset the switch. He saved me immense hassles and LOTS of money. I will absolutely call him with any electric problems. AMAZING!

WHAT OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE!! We have used Chris before at our home and oddly, one of the outlets in our garage just stopped working? Being an Electrical Engineer (educationally only), I thought, of course, ""OKAY, I can try to fix it!""

I read all the articles on what to do when an outlet goes bad and things to check, I even replaced the outlet and it still did not work. I noticed that one of the breakers was switching oddly, so maybe it was the breaker? So, we called Chris.

On the phone, Chris took me through some possible sources of the problem to check. The last check involved the GCI outlets in the house, kitchen, bathrooms, and guess what, . . . . . . . the GCI outlet in the master bathroom had accidentally had the TEST button pushed when I was cleaning the bathroom walls. My bad!! A quick reset and the garage outlet is working!! THANK YOU Chris and Del Mar Electric!!!

In January of 2020 my tenant contacted me about one of the smoke detectors located in the kitchen making chirping noises. I contacted Del Mar Electric to make the necessary repairs. The smoke detectors are hard wired. Someone from the company went out and did the installation. I received a bill for $225.00 labor only and $65.0O for the new detector. I was shocked at the labor cost and contacted them asking why so expensive. I never did receive any type of satisfactory response. I went ahead and paid the bill figuring it was my fault for not checking on their rates. Last week my tenant called again with the smoke detector in the master bedroom chirping.
I called a local handiman who went out that day, replaced the unit and checked all the others (3) in the house. All of them needed new batteries and one had the wires cut. His total bill including supplies was $255.00. Del Mar Electric never even looked at the other smoke detectors. They are a total trip off not to mention unprofessional.
Under no circumstancases would I ever use them again.

Chris and his son provide excellent service. They installed under cabinet lighting in my kitchen and a chandelier with complex and fragile drops. They do top quality work, are friendly and highly professional. Living in RSF we often experience the ""RSF markup"" from service providers. Del Mar Electric's pricing is reasonable. I highly recommend them.

Really fantastic service from Chris at Del Mar Electric. He was able to give us same-day service to update a subpanel in our new townhouse, and also fixed a few electrical odds and ends that weren't working. He and his team were extremely professional and super friendly, got all of the work done quickly, and left us with smiles on our faces! Really can't recommend him enough. Glad to know we've got such a great electrician in the neighborhood!

Very pleasant and reasonable! We had some outlets that weren't working and booked an appointment for Chris to take a look. However, by the time he came out, we were able to fix it ourselves (broken fuse). We expected him to charge us for having to come out and we would have paid, but he didn't charge us! We'll definitely use Del Mar Electric next time we have a problem we can't fix ourselves!

I needed 16 smoke detectors changed out in my house and was really scared about how much it would cost. I was pleasantly surprised when Chris suggested I purchase the smoke detectors (and a few combo carbon dioxide/smoke detectors) directly from Home Depot and then call him for the install. He and his son came out and installed the detectors quickly and they are so nice too! I would 100% recommend them and will be calling again next time I need some work done. Thank you!
