With over 40 years in the fields of construction, electrical work, and plumbing, I started my career in high school shop class, building houses from the ground up, which were sold at the end of the school year. After that, I worked with my uncle, who purchased homes for renovation; we stripped them down and remodeled them completely. During my time as a firefighter, I kept working on various carpentry, plumbing, and electrical projects. There’s nothing quite like entering a home, receiving a project, and witnessing it all come together, especially when I see the homeowner's joy. My introduction to carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work started in high school, followed by hands-on experience gutting and remodeling homes with my uncle. My love for building and remodeling has been a constant throughout my life. When my wife decided to open a tanning salon, I showcased my skills in Iuka. I was later asked to restore the old feed mill in Iuka to its former glory. I encountered numerous individuals interested in my craftsmanship during this period. After hearing stories of dissatisfaction with other contractors, we felt compelled to start our own carpentry and plumbing business. Our goal isn’t to get rich but to ensure people receive what they ask for and that the job is done right. Our focus is on assisting others and rectifying the wrongs of previous contractors. We want to ensure our clients are as proud of the work as we are. I am a retired Fire Department Captain, and my wife is a registered nurse working towards her Doctorate in nursing. We moved from Texas to Mississippi, where my wife was born and raised, and her family remains. We chose Iuka for its charm and the many amenities nearby.
