I have to say anytime you call someone to come work on the house you were anticipating at some point to get ripped off during the process. This was not at all the experience I had with Daniel and his professionalism as well as guidance on my house left me shocked there are still good ones out there.

Daniel not only got my house back up and running but also only charged me for a service call even though he did use some of his own parts to resolve our issue. The back-and-forth banter was extraordinary and I feel that I have found an electrician for life while living out in Simi Valley.

There was some mentioning on what we should do in the future although did confirm that we did not have to go through this at this moment to get to where we needed to be to have electricity back on a few rooms. When I do decide to do the work that's needed in the future Daniel be the first call I make.

Anyone looking for work to be done and are concerned with honesty and priced effectiveness should give this guy a call. He also came out same day and save the day. Great job Daniel!

Wow, I know nothing about electricity and I read up on it before I called anyone over. Now I was expecting the can of worms syndrome but when he came out I was taken back, and thoroughly surprised that he got my problem fixed so quickly and without the upsell head ache! When I wanted to have recessed lighting put in my home, I called DC Electric. Daniel came to my home, I explained what I wanted done, and he gave me a very reasonable estimate. He installed 14 units exactly where I wanted them, which included taking out existing fluorescent lighting in the kitchen and putting in new drywall ceiling. He took the time to make sure it was done right. He stuck to his price even though it took longer than he anticipated. I found Daniel to be a very hard worker, trustworthy and reliable. I recommend him very highly.

Dan was very professional, honest, and upfront about my options and costs. I had him wire outlets for holiday lighting, put flood lights in my backyard and wire and install new outdoor garage lights.
His pricing is very reasonable and it was done cleanly and on time.

I needed to have two vanity fluorescent wood box lights knocked out and then install new vanity lights. Daniel called me back about an hour after I left him a message. He was able to give me a free quote that same day. I was very happy with his quote and he completed the work that day. He did a great job fixing the drywall and texturing it. We are definitely going to have him back to do the other bathroom lights.

Contacted Daniel of DC Electric yesterday (Saturday) to see if he was available to come check on an electrical problem. One of our electric boxes broke and we had no power in our garage for the garage door or fridge and freezer.

I was relieved when Daniel said he could make it out later in the day. He showed up about three hours after I first contacted him, which was fine, as it was not a true emergency. Daniel and a helper arrived and worked on the problem for about 75 minutes and the overall charge was $90, which I thought was a good price. I was very happy with the communication and overall work. I will call Daniel again for any future electric issues!

Spoke to Daniel. Super nice guy. Knowledgeable... but most importantly he is honest. He told me very straight forward what my options are, the best way to go about getting things done and how to keep things cost effective for me.

Some electricians were recommending work that would cost thousands of dollars, but Daniel was honest and said I didn't need it and what my options are.

You don't find this kind of honesty too often and I have to be appreciative for it. I will definitely keep DC Electric in my bookmarks for any future electrical work on the house.

Will definitely be using DC Electric again. Daniel came to help us out with a plumbing issue because my daughter decided it would be a great idea to throw a shaving cream bottle cap down the drain. Daniel was able to fix it quick and did a great job. He even went the extra step to seal down the drain cover so she could not do it again. On top of this, while Daniel was here he also helped us out with an electrical issue for one of our fans, this time it was my husband who pulled the string down to hard and it broke. Daniel was so kind he offered to show my husband how to do it, but instead we just booked him and his brother David for this job. We are so appreciative of the great work that was done today. DC Electric gave it 100% and they are very personable and professional. No need to look further, DC Electric is your guy!
