Your local Service Electrician is here! As a retired Electrical Contractor, I’m eager to stay active. I’m available on weekends as well. My expertise includes troubleshooting, service, maintenance, remodels, and emergency work. Save my number for future reference: 714-422-7747.
I take care of service calls, diagnostics, and repairs. I offer pigtail services. Need additional outlets? I can set up car chargers for you. I install ceiling fans. I upgrade older bathroom exhaust fans to quieter, modern models. I focus on landscape lighting solutions.
No more worrying about employees damaging my service vehicles or questionable Public Works jobs. I no longer handle weekly payroll for 29 staff members while I receive monthly payments. At 58, I recognize that life changes. I’m a one-man operation now. I handle projects that are $500 or less. Look up “Curtis Larson, Electrician” on Facebook for samples of my work and customer feedback.
Previously, I was Gateway Electric, Inc. with CSLB #755476 C-10 Electrical & B General license (inactive/expired). I also had State Certification #132076, which is now expired. I list these numbers for you to validate my expertise. I comply with California’s standards for Handyman services.
I always looked up to my Grandfather for his love and support. He was an Electrical Contractor, and one of my uncles served as a General Foreman. I entered the field late, having started investing in real estate at 19. I bought a triplex in Long Beach as my first investment. At 27, I bought my home in Belmont Shore. It was a thrilling moment. Sadly, the market dropped, leading me to sell all my rental properties and my home. It taught me humility. I quickly enrolled in the Electrician Program at LA Trade Tech, completed four years, and obtained my C10 & B licenses to bid on Public Works projects worth $100,000-$500,000 (schools). I built cell sites for Nextel, Sprint, and T-Mobile across Southern California. I completed modifications too. I collaborated with insurance companies (State Farm and Liberty Mutual) and restoration companies to reconstruct fire-damaged or water-damaged buildings.
Now, I’m a one-man operation seeking service, maintenance, and repair work. I handle remodels too.
