I have always taken on side projects, but I chose to launch my own company. The boss who believed in me and promoted me to Superintendent on a major project in the southeastern region—the Navy Federal Headquarters in Bueller, FL. We partnered with Barracco Electric, and I began with a small crew of three. We ended up with a workforce of 50 by the time I left the company.
