Seriously they deserve 5 stars. They are very courteous and nice to deal with.

So I had an issue with my microwave and refrigerator being on the same circuit breaker and the breaker kept on tripping. I called Cross Electrical and Kathy picked up the phone and gave me some good advise and even tried to save me money by giving me tips on what I can do without Doug needing to come over. Anyways I still asked for Doug to come and take a look as I was worried.

Doug came promptly at the appt time, never met any contractor who was so gentle and nice to work with. Anyways he came and checked a few things electrically and gave me some suggestions on what to do to have the appliances on different circuit breakers. He did not take a single penny for giving all those advises and suggestions. He could have easily feigned to do something on the breaker and fuse box and something else and I would have paid since I would not have known any better. But he was honest and that is what I appreciated a lot. He was not like the other electrician (see my other reviews) who came and just turned on the reset button and I had to pay him 250 bucks for that! So there are good guys like Doug and Kathy.

Next time I have an electrical need, I will call them as they are an honest couple.

Why would anyone give Cross Electrical anything less than 5stars! Personally, I've dealt with difficult people so maybe something's up. Anyways, Kathy & Doug are always prompt, proffessional, and friendly when answering any questions I have. If I have any problems, they are at the top of my list! #1

A family company you can TRUST!
My wife and I decided to seek an electrician to install 4 ceiling fans in our bungalow home. I grew up in this house and not only wanted someone that knew what they were doing, but also someone I could TRUST entering my home. You can't be too careful these days. Since my wife has a job where she is knowledgable of local contractors, she recommended, without hesitation, Cross Electrical. The bid was very reasonable, the work was done quickly and efficiently (3 hours), they were very neat/clean, and above all I felt very comfortable with them being in the house. The work passed city inspection without a hitch. This a family business"" from top to bottom."" Cathy works the office, her husband Doug is co-owner, and Jerry, Doug's brother, works alongside his brother.
All have a vested interest in the success of their work/company. If you are looking for a licensed, bonded, local outfit that has been around a while and just plain are good folks that REALLY know what they are doing, you can't go wrong with Cross Electrical.

I have had many electrical jobs done by Cross Electrical. We had a pool built in our backyard recently and had Cross Electrical put in a upgraded electrical box panel so we can have enough power for the Heater/pump for the pool. Never had a problem. Mr. Cross is an honest worker and does his work in a timely manner. I would recommend Cross Electrical. Very kind family owned business. Will go out of there way to help you.

I have much personal experience with Cross Electrical. Their honesty and quality can't be beat. Do yourself a favor and give them a try-you won't be sorry!

Had Cross electrical wire my shed for me. Doug and his brother did a great job. Also , their price was 1/2 my second bidder. I would definitely use them again. Thanks.

We used them to install a few celiing fans. They charged $300 for each,. Balancing was not included. i was told it would take hours and they charge by the hour. So we were to accept the fan shaking! They suggested i do it!! They failed to leave behind the wieghts that came with my fan. Failed to return them the day and time as agreed. It took a few calls to get the weights back.

The worse part of the whole issue is that Mr. Cross told us our remote was bad. We paid $50 for a new fan remote. After the installation neither the the new remote or the old remote worked the new fan! Mr. Cross told us to use old remote to operate fan and the new for the fan lighting. That is just acceptable!! Our local handyman fixed the issue and installed our last fan for $75. It took him 15 minutes to balance the fan. Oh, and he fixed the remote issue Cross Electric couldn't figure out.

Would never use this firm again. Would not recommend them to fan installation.

We couldn't be happier to have found Cross Electrical. They came out right away when they heard we had no power = no heat. They truly care about there clients.

I thought I had a problem with the electrical wiring to my hot tub and called these folks. Cathy answered the phone and asked me to describe the problem. Turned out Doug was on a field call and she politely told me that he would call me back later that evening. As promised, Doug called me back and asked me a few questions before asking me to go check the GFCI breaker. I mentioned that I had already checked it, but he explained to me that I had to first push the GFCI breaker switch all the way to the left before I turned it back on. It turned out that that was the problem all along!

The fact that he helped me over the phone and did in a very friendly manner was good enough for five stars. The fact that he patiently answered my other questions (about the hot tub wiring and the breakers) was reason enough for me to sign up on yelp so I could post this review!

and yes, I'm definitely calling these guys the next time I have any electrical problems in my house.
