Our service technician, Brandon, was fantastic! He was knowledgeable, thorough, and efficient. We were able to solve all my problems within my budget in under 2 hours. He even advised me on other electrical issues in my home, and dispatched a plumber to look at our broken garbage disposal for no additional charge. Also, chatting with him was a delight! I was concerned that it would be an arm and a leg, considering that I have heard Corley was more expensive that other service providors, but Brandon worked with me to find a solution I could afford. Some handymen and low priced electricians cut corners and don't ensure your wiring repair is up to code. I feel confident in the repairs he did and I couldn't be happier that I called Corley.
Ranger M.Had a burst and water was spewing for hours unknown until I turned on faucet indoors and pressure was half. I went outdoors to find this problem. I called Corley, and less than 45 minutes a tech was at my door. My home is older, and a replacement handle was no longer available. Patrick was able to save me hundreds of dollars (since I am a senior citizen on limited budget), by fixing using another spigot attached to the old one with it's water permanently turned on, using the on/off control on the new spigot! Patrick was professional, personable, and creative, in solving my problem. This was a big problem, as water was running under the house and surfacing underneath into the back yard! Highly recommend Corley and Patrick.
Drew D.Why can't I give no stars?
These guys are the worst. Our experience has been very negative. Their business model seems to be show up, find some explanation for your problem, tell you they need to order some part, and never follow up. Not sure how that could ever work.
Why these guys spend time buy local TV ads rather than fixing their business model is beyond me.
Peg L.I am a split review. I used them at a new house and they replaced a significant part on the entire house's plumbing. Am thinking it was around 2k. Lifetime warranty. Am ok with that. Then used them for my business...formerly Community Drugstore. To ""locate"" the source of the leak was 1800. After finding it to be sinks & toilets, they were fixed. Then the sink needed a new faucet. That was $749 for a basic faucet. Yeah, could've definitely had all the other stuff for cheaper. Probably should have just started with a local plumber to locate the leak and fix for less than 500, instead of 2700. Also used them at a rental house. They once again ""redid"" the plumbing through the entirety of the house for 10k. Now, I need a sewer re-route? It's another 10k. I can't afford to throw money away.
Kathy C.Work completed last year already giving us problems again. Work done as routine maintenance took way too long and repairman left it half completed. Rescheduled on us several times-broken promises on a refund for almost a month. Not a very reliable company. We spent a lot of money having them redo some things that I have no confidence in now after dealing with them for a while.
about a month later: Thank you for sending someone out to fix part of the issue and tell us the work needed to do the rest of the work. That was helpful and should have been done the first time; however your company is still charging my account after numerous conversations with your office. This is now the third month after a confirmed cancellation that I am being charged a monthly fee. It seems the only way I get action is to post to social media so here goes again.
Richard B.Professional, prompt and courteous. Figured out a problem that the prior homeowner incorrectly (and dangerously) fixed. Explained everything in detail. Signed up with the expanded service agreement and look forward to having Corley / Yuri's support to keep my house running ship-shape in the future.
Stuart G.This company is by far the biggest rip off I've ever seen. They quoted me $1960 to install a 30amp breaker with a interlock. Plus an additional $375 for a surge protector. I told the tech. I already have a generator. I don't need to buy another one. Any way I was able to go to Graybar electric and buy all of my items and do the work my self for $250.
Doug W.Got a quote to put 20 amp outlet in basement. The wire was mostly to be run through our unfinished basement with only a small hole needing to be cut in the drywall. The quote was over $1,300 plus quotes for two things we didn't need fixed for an additional $700. We hired someone else to do the work for total cost of $200. Only hire this company if money is no object.
Alexandr R.We had an emergency electrical situation in the house. ""Corley Plumbing Air Electric"" was one of the companies available during weekend. After getting an electrician on site and receiving a pricey quote from them, we had to wait cause the cost was just sky high and shocking for us. A day later, during normal work hours, we called the electrician that we always use. He completed the work and explained everything to us for a price exactly 15 times cheaper than Corley. He also smiled at the quote we got from Corley's. And that is not counting the $180 emergency fee that we paid + $450 fee that we would have paid for requesting to open supply store after hours. I should have read other reviews here first. Man, unless you don't have any other choice, call someone else. Anyone.
Bill N.While the guy checking out my HVAC system seemed nice enough, his carelessness cost me a bad radon test result. Right in the middle of the two day test period, which is when he did his inspection, he turned the switch off to my main AC system, which doubled the radon levels for day two. Now I'm looking at $700 in radon mitigation before I can sell my house.
