W. T. Clark founded Clark Electric Service. W. T. Clark's initial education in Electrical and Electronics came from his service in the US Navy. While in the Navy, he worked on shipboard Fire Control radar systems and computers. Afterward, he spent years in the industrial sector as an electrician, troubleshooting machine controls. He enrolled in Spartanburg Technical College to enhance his electrical knowledge through various courses. He dedicated around 15 years to the industrial electrical field after his Navy service. Eventually, he decided to launch his own business, obtaining both his Master Electrician and Electrical Contractor licenses.
