Total scum! Smelled like a chimney when service call requested by American homes hiked fxed absolutely nothing! Total scam to collect 100.00
Do not call them

Tim with City First Electric was great. He turned up early. He resolved all the issues quickly and efficiently. Professional and friendly. I highly recommend Tim and the team.

Nice guy but didn't troubleshoot the issue and left our wiring disconnected making it even more difficult for our own electrician to solve. (Warranty call)

Not recommended. If I could give NO stars I would!
I sent the following email to the owner over two weeks ago. He never responded.
I called to speak to you yesterday but was told you were unavailable so I am sending this email to you to express my complete disappointment and frustration with Tim your technician. He mis-diagnosed the electrical issue at my house specifically item #2 (under 3 causes of the failure). There is NO damage to my oven and it didn't cause the breaker to overheat. The problem is the breaker did not have a snug fit in the panel and was previously removed for safety reasons. He didn't even look at the oven which is in excellent shape and works. Also the busbar is not burned out as indicated in item #3. His diagnosis is wrong and erroneous and because of this American Home Shield denied coverage as indicated in the attached report. I have since obtained a second opinion and now AHS is providing some coverage

The electrician seemed to know his stuff, and helped out with a couple small issues, but this was a Home Warranty job, so as per usual, it was presented to the ins company as Not a covered charge. I called SCE to look at the panel and they checked the actual breaker. It was loose and arcing... burned out. I had asked electrician to pull and check each one but he said he could tell they were fine, just over loaded panel. I, a 60 yo female, replaced the breaker myself!
I think, had it not been an insurance job, it would have been done right.
American Home Warranty has never come through on a claim.

City First Electric was requested through my insurance company, American Home Shield. My experience with EFE was positive. I was able to schedule an appointment same week, received updates from my tech when he was on the way. My tech was on time, friendly, and knowledgable.

They get one star for showing up. Requested service through American Home Shield. It's apparent AHS does not monitor reviews, otherwise they would drop this company based on all the one star reviews. My garage outlets were not working. I have 13 outlets in the garage, some hard to reach but not impossible. The techs comment, ""It's uncomfortable reaching for some of your outlets."" At that point I realized, if it isn't easy to reach, he wasn't going to work on it. He troubleshot two outlets and made the comment, ""The outlets were overloaded and that's why their don't work."" No kidding, but since I don't have the skills to troubleshoot the outlets, that's why I called AHS. He didn't bother looking at any other outlet to see which one was burned out and needed to be changed. He said this job was going to take too long and he had other appointments. He left stating he was going to report his findings to AHS. I called the company to speak to a manager and he said according to the tech I had overloaded the outlets and I could pay $375 guaranteeing me three hours of their time to troubleshoot and that's the rub. When they are dispatched through a home warranty company, if they can't fix it in under an hour, they are losing money. The manager said the quiet part outloud. They don't have your best interest. I do not recommend this company.

The gentleman that came out was nice enough but he said he would return to do the work and never did come back. He turned in paperwork to Fidelity National warranty, home insurance stating that the electrical problem was a pre-existing condition. That's not what he told me. I would not recommend this company as I feel like I was lied to.

City First Electric was brought in by AHS to replace my subpanel. When the power was turned on the late model microwave wouldn't function whatsoever. I've had to start a service request for microwave servicing which cost me another $100. City First refused to repair the appliance or even credit me the $100 AHS service fee, claiming what happened was impossible. I find their customer service skills so lacking that I can't recommend them even if the balance of the work was adequate . You want customer service? Steer clear of City First Electric. They're in it only for the $$$.

City First Electric service is sucks! Technician did not check our ceiling fan properly. Left our house saying there nothing wrong with the fan. Once he left our ceiling fan is not working again. When I told them what happened instead of letting their technician comes back they ask me to send pictures and videos. Then technician decided to not fix the motor or the issue.
Do not use this company. Waste of money!!!
