I had an issue with my A/C circuit panel and my home owner insurance connected me with City 1st Electric. Scheduling was great and easy. Joseph, my assigned electrician, was very professional and courteous. He contacted me before arrival and showed up on time. He quickly diagnosed a severe worn down a/c circuit breaker. He went far beyond the call of duty to replace the deficient circuit breaker with the appropriate needed breaker as a courtesy, free of charge, much to my appreciation! I still had to pay the $65 service charge for the overall visit but grateful for the free breaker not covered by the homeowner insurance. Overall I had a great experience and highly recommend Joseph of City 1st Electric! Thanks again Joseph!

Not really happy with them. My insurance company didn't cover the panel upgrade so we went with their company to do it. The electrician who came convinced us it was a great deal and they would take care of everything, even the permits. The guy who did the panel was great but then in order to complete everything the inspection needed to be done. Needless to say, it's two weeks later and nothing got done. We keep calling them and leaving messages but they do not care and they do not call back. What kind of business is that??? It's important that they got their money and now, who cares if the job is done or not??? The inspector didn't buy the job yet and we are stuck with having to finish the work and deal with inspector, city and the permits.

Do not use this company. They said my check was returned so I gave them my credit card over the phone and asked for my check to be mailed back to me. The lady said said she would email it and mail it. Never got it back in the mail. I think they ripped be off for 2 co pays thru American Home Shield. It's bee 2 weeks and I called AHS twice and they said their accounting department is working on it.

City First Electric is great! They arrived on time and quickly fixed two electrical problems for the price of a service call. This was after a former company had recommended unnecessary work and quoted us $700 to fix just one of the problems. Joseph from City First Electric is honest, courteous, effective, and expertly fixed our electrical problems to our great relief. We will not hesitate to call him again for our electrical needs.

I called my home insurance company and got assigned to first city electric. I was informed they would call within 2 days, but they never did. I called them and they scheduled to come in the next day between 1-5. I took off work and hoped to get my issues fixed. However, no one showed up. I called after 5 and they said the contractor will be 30 minute late; I waited until pass 6 and had to call again. This time they told me to reschedule. Why can't the electrician give me a call if he ran late? So unprofessional! Only positive thing is the lady picking up the phone very fast to schedule me in. Will not use this company or recommend anyone to use them.

This company was assigned to me thru my home warranty program AHS. 6days after they were assigned to me, I called AHS and asked why I had not been contacted? The rep called City First Electrical who said they had called me three times with no answer (LIE!!). My phone service records all incoming-outgoing number!
I was told they are the only ones available for my service.
I cancelled the service request.

Looking over pasted reviews, this is not the first complaint of this type!

We had first city come out to fix what another hack electrician company couldn't. They came on time, was courteous, professional, knew exactly how to trouble shoot and trace the point of failure and have it repaired in less than an hour. Highly recommended.

Called my home warranty company on 6/25/16 for repair to a light switch in my living room. They assigned this company to complete our repair. It is now 7/2/16 and we just spoke to the company who was scheduled be at our house between 3 and 6. They failed to call or show-up. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! If the home warranty company assigns them to you, ask for a different company. Additionally, I just looked at the home warranty account and my account profile notes City First was unable to contact the customer. What a joke!

Stay away. Horrible customer service and dishonest electricians. False promises and so much excuses for not doing the work.
