Company Overview

Established in 1991, Chinchor Electric, Inc. has focused on communication and integration control infrastructure. Initially, our work centered around the theme park sector from 1991 to 1999. Throughout these years, we executed the installation, testing, and integration of multiple attractions at Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure.

Our experience led us into the Water and Wastewater Industry, where we improved our capabilities in PLC integration, power distribution, and control design. Our services include I/O logic, complete fiber optic solutions, and digital and analog installations for full plant functionality.

In 2003, Chinchor Electric, Inc. broadened its scope to include Roadway Infrastructure projects. We became Traffic Signal Prequalified with the FDOT that year and have upheld this qualification to date.

We have functioned as both Prime Contractors and Subcontractors for Roadway projects, focusing on Intelligent Traffic Systems (ITS) since 2003. We now deliver a variety of services, including:

We take pride in being a family-owned and operated business. Timothy Z. Chinchor founded Tim Chinchor Electrical Contracting in 1986, which later became Chinchor Electric in 1991. Since our incorporation, we have developed an impressive track record of satisfied customers.
