Cherokee Electrical Contractors has proudly served Cherokee County. Jerry Knott, Jr., the owner, grew up in a contractor's family, but he was drawn to the challenges of electrical systems. In 1999, he made the move to Houston and started working with Denny's Electrical. He wired homes for professional athletes and some of the largest commercial and industrial firms in Houston. He obtained his Master Electrician license in 2003 and quickly came back to East Texas to establish his own company. He is a veteran of the US Army. He and his wife, Shelly, actively volunteer in their community in Rusk, Texas.
