For 20 years, Cherokee Electrical Contractors has been a trusted name in Cherokee County. The owner, Jerry Knott, Jr., was raised in a family of contractors, but he was drawn to the challenges of electrical systems. In 1999, he relocated to Houston and joined Denny's Electrical. His work included wiring homes for sports stars and top-tier commercial and industrial clients in Houston. He received his Master Electrical license in 2003 and soon returned to East Texas to launch his own business. He is a veteran of the US Army. Together with his wife, Shelly, they dedicate their time to various community efforts in Rusk, Texas.
