For 20 years, Cherokee Electrical Contractors has been a trusted name in Cherokee County. Jerry Knott, Jr. comes from a lineage of contractors, but found his passion in the electrical side of construction. In 1999, he made the move to Houston and joined Denny's Electrical. His work included wiring homes for sports stars and some of the largest commercial and industrial firms in Houston. He obtained his Master Electrician license in 2003 and soon returned to East Texas to launch his own business. He is a veteran of the US Army. Alongside his wife, Shelly, they contribute their time to several local initiatives in Rusk, Texas.
