For 20 years, Cherokee Electrical Contractors has been a trusted name in Cherokee County. Jerry Knott, Jr. comes from a lineage of contractors, but he was drawn to the challenges of electrical systems. He moved to Houston in 1999 and joined Denny's Electrical. His work included wiring homes for sports stars and major commercial and industrial companies in the Houston area. He obtained his Master Electrician license in 2003 and quickly came back to East Texas to establish his own company. Jerry served in the US Army. He and his wife, Shelly, actively volunteer in their community in Rusk, Texas.
