Cherokee Electrical Contractors has proudly served Cherokee County. The owner, Jerry Knott, Jr., was raised in a family of contractors, but found his passion in the electrical side of construction. He moved to Houston in 1999 and started working with Denny's Electrical. He had the opportunity to wire residences for MLB and NBA stars and major commercial and industrial companies in the Houston area. He obtained his Master Electrician license in 2003 and soon returned to East Texas to launch his own business. Jerry is also a proud US Army veteran. He and his wife, Shelly, actively volunteer in their community in Rusk, Texas.
