These guys are awesome. We had them replace a number of ceiling fixtures with recessed can lights and dimmer switches. They also installed a couple fans. They initially install LED trim pieces for the can lights and their installation and placement were PERFECT. When nighttime rolled around, we noticed that the lights were a bit too warm and they came back and replaced all (22) of them with a different color temperature fixture. They gave us another night to see how they looked and we still were not 100% satisfied with the way the lights looked (again, the installation was perfect, the issue was with the brightness and color temperature). We felt REALLY bad and, with our tail between our legs, we asked them to install normal can lights that take normal bulbs (thus allowing us to play with different brightness and color temps). They came back in a couple days and installed them all without any issues and they all look great. They are truly committed to the 100% satisfaction guarantee and their customer service is top notch. Jeremy, Marcus, and Michael were the installers and Robert was the estimator that helped coordinate everything and we could not be happier. THANK YOU!!

Mike and his team came out today to install some exterior electricity and ceiling fans. Everyone was professional and courteous. The arrived right on time and stayed until the job was finished, clean up included. They charged me the quoted price as agreed. It speaks volumes when a service business gets consistent 5 star reviews. Charleston Electric deserves it. We needed the power from the street buried and serious upgrades done at both inside and outside boxes. After requesting a quote, this company responded faster than every other and came in with the best, most comprehensive quote. The work was scheduled quickly, they arrived on the specified date and time, completed the work thoroughly and promptly. Upon completion of the work, they patiently waited a very long time for the building inspector to arrive and sign off. The entire job went off without a hitch. The best service experience I've ever had.

These folks are responsive, professional and fast. The followed up with me every single time I called, were polite and always had time for me and my questions. Matt is the ONLY, I repeat, ONLY contractor I have worked with in Mt. Pleasant that was EXACTLY on time, in fact about 3 minutes early, but waited respectfully until 9 to knock on the door. He was friendly, knowledgeable, personable, patient with my questions, went under the house, in the attic, was neatly dressed and very fast. Nicole and Jessica at the front office were great too - kind, polite and responsive. I enjoyed my experience top to bottom and know the job was done correctly - they even moved the time frame up to accommodate me! I cannot say enough good things about Charleston Electric!

We have had Charleston Electric come to our house twice. Both times service was excellent. Mike did the first job a couple months ago and was prompt and professional. We were in a bind with a stove being delivered and the urgent need for the installation of a 220 volt plug that we thought we had until we removed the old stove in the morning. I called 5 other companies and got voice mail or an appt two weeks out. Mike really got us out of a jam with same day service. Today we just had a couple of outlets that had been tripping. Paul took care of those concerns and asked if there was anything else he could check since there was time left on the hour we were paying for. These guys are experienced and knowledgeable. 5 stars for both of them.

I had two electrical problems. Called Charleston Electric. Loved that the scheduler gave me the service call charge per hour right up front. Prepurchased two fixtures to deal w/my issues to save us all time and me money. Matt, the young electrician came to my door and presented his card...very reassuring. He was clean, well-spoken, polite, competent, and efficient. He fixed both issues in under an hour. I didn't need the fixtures, so I returned them. Yahoo! I have added Charleston Electric to my contacts as my preferred electricians.

Great experience from phone appointment to service call! Appointment was set for 8/25 between 3 & 5pm. I received a call prior to them coming letting me know they were on the way and would be at our home in 15 minutes. I appreciated that! Steve and Mike were great, easy to work with, knowledgeable and personable! After showing them where I wanted the additional outlet installed in our master bathroom, they went straight to work. The job took less than an hour and I was delighted with the results! Charleston Electric is customer-service oriented which makes them first class in my book! Their rates which were quoted when I made the appointment are fair and reasonable. Glad to have met you folks and will be happy to refer you to anyone looking for an electrician! We'll be calling you again!

Class A outfit. Jessica got us fit in with a cancellation, and Jeremy did a great job troubleshooting our downstairs lighting problem. We also added a whole home surge protector per Jeremy's reco. We will be using them from now on!!
