We have had Charleston Electric come to our house twice. Both times service was excellent. Mike did the first job a couple months ago and was prompt and professional. We were in a bind with a stove being delivered and the urgent need for the installation of a 220 volt plug that we thought we had until we removed the old stove in the morning. I called 5 other companies and got voice mail or an appt two weeks out. Mike really got us out of a jam with same day service. Today we just had a couple of outlets that had been tripping. Paul took care of those concerns and asked if there was anything else he could check since there was time left on the hour we were paying for. These guys are experienced and knowledgeable. 5 stars for both of them.

I had two electrical problems. Called Charleston Electric. Loved that the scheduler gave me the service call charge per hour right up front. Prepurchased two fixtures to deal w/my issues to save us all time and me money. Matt, the young electrician came to my door and presented his card...very reassuring. He was clean, well-spoken, polite, competent, and efficient. He fixed both issues in under an hour. I didn't need the fixtures, so I returned them. Yahoo! I have added Charleston Electric to my contacts as my preferred electricians.

Great experience from phone appointment to service call! Appointment was set for 8/25 between 3 & 5pm. I received a call prior to them coming letting me know they were on the way and would be at our home in 15 minutes. I appreciated that! Steve and Mike were great, easy to work with, knowledgeable and personable! After showing them where I wanted the additional outlet installed in our master bathroom, they went straight to work. The job took less than an hour and I was delighted with the results! Charleston Electric is customer-service oriented which makes them first class in my book! Their rates which were quoted when I made the appointment are fair and reasonable. Glad to have met you folks and will be happy to refer you to anyone looking for an electrician! We'll be calling you again!

Class A outfit. Jessica got us fit in with a cancellation, and Jeremy did a great job troubleshooting our downstairs lighting problem. We also added a whole home surge protector per Jeremy's reco. We will be using them from now on!!

Jeremy arrived promptly to put up a ceiling fan and move a light fixture. He was professional, courteous and knowledgeable. He replaced outdated can lights with updated LED lights. Overall I would give high recommendation.

Awesome folks who are responsive, easy to work with, and super friendly. Jeremy came to our house today, after I called them yesterday saying I had an issue with my kitchen lights not turning off. Although he was running behind schedule, they made sure to call me earlier in the day to tell me when he'd show up, which was very nice. Jeremy was very friendly and efficient. He quickly fixed the issues I was having with my switches and also explained everything to me, which was great. He also saw that my fire alarms were out of date and we set up a time for them to come back and replace the alarms before he even left. Definitely recommend these guys.

Jeremy from Charleston Electric did an outstanding job installing a new ceiling fan at my home. Also was pleased that he recommended that I install a surge protector in the main electrical box to protect my TV's , Computers & New Appliances from a lighting strike. Although I had done extensive remodeling work including electrical work, my previous electrician failed to suggest adding a surge protector. So he was able to install it while he was there. We hired Charleston Electric to do three jobs at our home (install recessed lights in a tray ceiling, convert a 240v service to 120v and install an outdoor TV). One of the owners, William came out to look at the jobs the next day after I contacted them. He had creative ideas on how to make the work simpler and to reduce the scope and cost of the work, all of which I happily accepted. I received a detailed proposal the following day, which I accepted, and the work was completed early the following week. Steve and Mike who did the work were very professional, pleasant and incredibly neat, they arrived right on time and gave us a reminder call 30 minutes prior to arrival.
Overall I am thrilled with the results, a very professional install done without having to make any holes in drywall at all and they left our home cleaner than they found it. The pricing was very fair especially for a relatively small job. I would not hesitate to use them again and I have already recommended them to friends.
