Our company began operations in 2009. We specialize in residential electrical solutions and garage door opener replacements. Much of our business comes from home warranty providers, presenting both opportunities and challenges. Pleasing all customers is not always straightforward due to the limitations of their policies and warranty rules. Despite this, we have cultivated a regular clientele that appreciates the quality service from Castle Contractor.

This company has a way of getting around the home warranty procedure to be able to get more money. My 80 yr old mom had them come out to check her garage opener and she paid the $75.00 service fee. Castle contractors came out and the first thing they said was ,"" it's probably the motor"". They ended up telling her it was the rollers and needed balancing. They charged her $225.00. She is on a fixed income and had to have my brother come from work to pay because she doesn't have that to put out. Pretty sad that this co takes advantage of senior citizens. They are just horrible people.

It's actually zero stars. This company was called out through our home warranty. They rescheduled twice and when they showed up, he breezed through and said he had to measure the spring for our garage door. He said we had to remove our storage racks above because he couldn't work with them there which is BS. I'm in my mid 60's, I can't take all the stuff down and remove the racks. Then he said he didn't have the spring in stock and would have to order it. He said he would send me an email with all the info. Never got an email. I sent an email to the address on the business card he gave me and never heard back. I called this morning and left a message as to how long it would take to get the spring and for them to come back out. (Door has been broken for 2 weeks now with my car trapped inside). Still haven't heard anything. We finally called the warranty company backed and asked if we could find another vendor. They said there was a note in the record stating this company turned the order back over to them because they didn't have the part and to find someone else to fix it! Here we are waiting for info and they blew it off! Terrible service.

I had placed a service call in February 2022 for my garage door thru our home warranty. They dispatched this contractor to come out, after they came out they stated they had to order the part, weeks passed and didn't hear back from them. Weeks later they called me to inform the part had arrived, once I called them back to schedule a time for them to come out they stated it was the wrong part(made no sense to me). I called them multiple times after this and they would never answer the phone. When I would text them they would take days to call/text back, they would tell me the part was backordered. Fast forward to June 2022, they informed me that they couldn't give me a ETA for the part. She stated she would tell the home warranty to cash me out. I called a local garage door repair company on a Sunday morning, 2 hours later they were out replacing the part that this contractor stated didn't have an ETA. My garage was fixed within 2 hours of a service call on a SUNDAY!

Noe came out today and replaced my garage door opener through my home warranty protection plan. Real knowledgeable, professional and a nice guy. I highly recommend Noe.

It sounds like we have similar complaints to others who attempted to use this company for a home warranty through Old Republic. They were completely non-responsive to our calls and requests. The spring broke in our garage and we had a vehicle that we needed to get out as soon as possible. We called several times trying to reach someone to see how long it would take and were never able to speak with anyone, nor did anyone ever call back. Very frustrating and especially frustrating to know we couldn't use any other provider (but that's against the home warranty company). It sounds like we saved ourselves a headache by finding someone local, despite the out of pocket cost.

Noe and Mario came out today to fix our oven that hasn't been working since November 2021. After 4 servicemen came and couldn't find the problem, this guy found it in a minute. Literally, it might have been less than that. After being told we had melted wires, and the entire breaker box had to be replaced..NOT TRUE, NOE TOLD US THE BREAKER HAD BEEN TRIPPED, that's the reason our oven wasn't working. Thank you so much Noe, your company rocks...

AVOID THESE GUYS!!!! If your home warranty assigns you to them, call and request another company. Once they arrive to your property it is a pain to get someone else out/reassigned.
Crooks, unprofessional, awful. Just a few words that come to mind. The technician seemed fine and told me what needed to be fixed. A simple $10 sprocket coupler. He said he would order parts and be back in a few days. I received no communication so called to figure out what was going on. The office manager/receptionist is beyond unorganized and rude and got me confused with another job and then said my claim was denied. But of course they could come out for $400 and charge me for it. Nope. Called Fidelity and was told they never even submitted it and it was never even denied. Called Castle back and they just don't answer their phones. I spent the whole day calling, got through and told her Fidelity didn't receive the claim and it wasn't even denied. She disagreed and said it was and asked if I wanted them to come out for the additional $400 charge. I told her I wanted to speak with the technician and she said he'd call. No word from him so I called again and she said he had nothing to discuss with me. I fear there are a lot of older people who also have home warranties and Castle seems like the type of company that would prey on individuals.
Fidelity has honestly also been less than helpful with this and is waiting for the claim that Castle has not sent and claims their hands are tied until it's received. Long story short, my neighbor is going to fix it for me.
I do not trust these guys and after reading reviews, it looks like they've done this to others.

They haven't even made it out to my house and my experience has been terrible, unprofessional is the word i would use for the company. And the office secretary needs to stay home or find a new job. She told me to call back when i was in a better mood....They call from blocked numbers, and don't leave voicemails then tell me after taking a full day off work that its my fault because i did not answer ""what company blocks numbers"" ....ridiculous... CALL SOMONE ELSE... NO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY FEELS LIKE A SCAM

Excellent customer service by Nellie and Reuben was a great technician, very professional, knowledgeable and efficient. I would definitely hire this company again.

Alex came out on time and was very personable and professional. Solved our garage door problem in no time, and explained exactly what the problem was.
