Castle Contractor was established in 2009. We focus on residential electrical services and garage door opener replacements. A large part of our clientele includes home warranty companies, which has its advantages and difficulties. Meeting every client's needs can be challenging because of policy restrictions and warranty guidelines. Nonetheless, we have built a loyal customer base that values the service Castle Contractor offers.

Castle contractor highly recommended.

This company was assigned to us by old republic home warranty. Came to the house and said burnt breaker was not covered and was preexisting problem because of the burn marks. Wanted 300 dollars more to fix, when it should have been covered by warranty. Lights were on, next day off...how is that preexisting? I called receptionist.... Very rude and unprofessional. I asked if they looked for reasons to say it's not covered
.... she said many customers have said the same thing and laughed.....huh maybe we are on to something here? I called old republic and they agreed that it should have been covered and are sending another company out to fix problem. DO NOT USE.... there are other good companies with good customer service use them instead.
Update....2nd company came out to the house and diagnosed and fixed/replaced 3 breakers in 5 minutes. This new company said they didn't understand why Castle didn't fix it to begin with. Thanks to Old Republic for listening to my concerns and promptly sending out a new company by for second opinion and resolution.

As of June 16, 2017 they are still closed/ gone out of business/ or shut down by the State Contractors Board.
They are no longer in business. Called to have them fix a problem they previously ""repaired"" (3 months ago) and no one ever called back after dozens of messages.

Unfortunately I didn't have a choice picking this company they were assigned by OLD REPUBLIC HOME PROTECTION a warranty company picked out by the sellers we bought our house in Vista, CA which I would give ZERO STARS if possible.
I explained to the warranty company that our breakers were tripping constantly in the house he said that would be covered under warranty & was a definite issue.
Technician from Castle came out said our breakers were too small & would not replace under the warranty did Nothing and left.
Was charged $65 for an issue that was supposed to be covered technician took 1 minute to look at box & left very rude people.
Bottom line DO NOT USE CASTLE OR OLD REPUBLIC they are into scamming customers!!!

I'll be quick:
Service requested Last November. My Landlord already paid the service.
I have called them at least 8 times. left 8 messages with my phone number. Nobody answered the phone and nobody called me back.
I contacted my landlord, he told me that after 3 attempts he was able to get them on the phone, but nobody ever called him back after his previous calls.
He suggested me to keep going calling them until when they will answer the phone.
BTW, Has been 5 months I have been waiting for this fan to be fixed... thanks God it was a water leak!!!!

So far terrible experience.
Now I have to go:
I have to call Castle Contractor again to see if they deign to answer the phone

Very disappointing experience. They wasted our time claiming the repair work could not be done (it was done VERY easily by another contractor) and Veronica in the office was quite rude. Would not call them again.

Ruben came out the same day.... I got lucky there was a cancelation. Now I have hot water and a new circuit breaker thanks to his desire to eliminate an possible issues. He was very professional, answered any questions, thorough and quick. And more knowledgeable than the person who installed a new water heater a few months ago and was called first. But to be fair a plumber isn't as experienced as an electrician.
If you read the review by Roshann C. it seems she had an issue. I never experienced any type of issue. I had requested that the tech. call when he was 20 minutes out so I could meet him. Never had a problem. Got the call and he arrived on schedule. Give them an opportunity, you won't be sorry.

Alex came out today to help us with our garage door. We couldn't be more happy with the service and quality of his workmanship. It's frustrating when something as simple as a garage door isn't working but Alex identified the problem very fast and was professional throughout the visit. Thank you guys and thank you alex

awful service........they come with sorry we don't have your part......nothing special about the part it's a common part.
