Established by Justin K., CAL TEC Electrical Systems is a Concord-located crew of highly skilled, licensed and experienced electricians who assist the Tri-County community of Contra Costa area, Alameda region and Solano County. We not only have extensive knowledge of electrical installations, problem resolution and repairs, but we also bring two decades of code knowledge that differentiates us from other contractors and tradespeople who merely seek to profit quickly. I am part of a third-generation tradesmen. My ancestor was a naval electrician during WWII and also worked as a general contractor. My father is a former building inspector with 30-plus years of service and is currently a builder. Two of my uncles and my cousin are also licensed electricians in the I.B.E.W. (with my uncles being former). Moreover, I have an uncle who does electrical work for defense installations. My interest in the electrical industry during my high school years, where I completed three years of electronics. Following graduation, I was employed in the Pac Bell facilities around the San Francisco Bay Area for a limited duration before I enrolled in the IBEW. In 2006, I made the choice to go out on my own.
