Created by Justin K., CAL TEC Electrical Systems is a Concord-located team of proficient, licensed and experienced electricians who support the Tri-County area of Contra Costa County, Alameda and Solano area. Not only do we possess in-depth expertise of electrical setups, diagnostics and fixes, but we also bring twenty years of compliance expertise that differentiates us from competing contractors and technicians who merely seek to earn fast money. I belong to a third-generation family of tradesmen. My granddad was a military electrician during WWII and also worked as a general contractor. My dad is a ex-building inspector with 30-plus years of service and is currently a general contractor. Two of my uncles and one of my cousins are also licensed electricians in the IBEW (with my uncles being former). On top of that, I have an additional uncle does electrical work for military bases. I became interested in the world of electricity during high school, where I studied electronics. After high school, I was employed in the Pac Bell facilities around the Bay Area region for a short time before I joined the I.B.E.W.. In the year 2006, I made the choice to go out on my own.
