Founded by Justin K., CAL TEC Electrical Systems is a Concord-centered group of highly skilled, certified and capable electricians who serve the Tri-County community of Contra Costa, Alameda County and Solano area. We not only have extensive knowledge of electrical installations, problem resolution and fixes, but we also bring two decades of code knowledge that sets us apart from competing contractors and workers who merely seek to earn fast money. This commitment, proficiency and understanding that makes us as the authorities in our field. I am part of a third-generation tradesmen. My grandfather was a naval electrician during WWII and also worked as a construction manager. My dad is a ex-building inspector with 30-plus years of work and is currently a construction professional. I have two uncles and one of my cousins are also professionals in electrical work in the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (with my uncles being retired). Additionally, I have an additional uncle does electrical work for defense installations. I became interested in the world of electricity during high school, where I completed three years of electronics. Following graduation, I was employed in the Pac Bell facilities around the Bay Area region for a short time before I enrolled in the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Back in 2006, I chose to branch out.
