Established by Justin K., CAL TEC Electrical Systems is a Concord-located group of expert, qualified and capable electricians who serve the Tri-County area of Contra Costa area, Alameda County and Solano area. Not only do we possess extensive knowledge of electrical work, diagnostics and repairs, but we also bring two decades of regulatory knowledge that differentiates us from other service providers and technicians who merely seek to earn fast money. I belong to a third-generation tradesmen. My granddad was a military electrician during WWII and also worked as a builder. My parent is a retired building inspector with more than three decades of work and is currently a builder. Two uncles of mine and my cousin are also electricians in the IBEW (with my uncles being no longer active). Additionally, I have an additional uncle does electrical contracting for defense installations. I became interested in the world of electricity during my high school years, where I studied electronics. After high school, I was employed in the Pac Bell switch offices around the San Francisco Bay Area for a brief period before I enrolled in the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. In the year 2006, I decided to go out on my own.
