Cabrillo Electric is top notch. My family and I just purchased a plug in hybrid and were looking for the best deal from a qualified and licensed electrician to install a Level 2 charger. Unfortunately we didn't see their message when they messaged me about beating our other bids by a good amount. If your looking for a licensed electrician with great communication, and VERY competitive pricing, look into Cabrillo. We will definitely be using Cabrillo for our next electrical project.

I had a great experience with this company. They gave me a free estimate and kept their word on it. The father and son worked nonstop to electrically wire all the smoke and carbon monoxide detectors in my two story home. They completed the project in one day and patched up all the holes that were made for the wiring. They also cleaned up afterwards. It was one of the most pleasant experiences I have had with a company. They even tested the detectors multiple times to make sure that they all ran in unison. They did a great job and were very professional. I would recommend them to anyone!

JOB hansomely done!! These guys are very responsive even to a request sent out on Sunday! And the job is done very next day. I just installed Ring Flood Light camera. Since I didn't have a hotwire reaily available to connect my camera outside of my condo unit, wiring had to be done. They used minimum holes to get the job done and patched the walls as they were before. And they offered a great price for the hard and great work! I highly recommend Cabrillo Elec for any electrical jobs! They are very responsible and responsive! I will defintely use their services if i have other projects! I am so happy with my camera installed at my porch, and it works great. Their job exceeded my expectation! Btw, they are father and son working together!! :) THANK YOU SO MUCH, you guys!!

Cabrillo Electric is one of the very best local San Diego businesses. In every area of evaluation I would rate them outstanding! This starts with Lowell Loomer Sr. and complimented with his son- LJ (Lowell Jr.). They make an incredibly strong team willing to help bring a 1950 home up to date with all electrical infrastructure. They rewired our entire house with the very best materials.
Communication is incredibly good via text messages and/or phone calls. They were always on time and willing to ask what might not be working correctly. If by chance something was needing attention they fixed whatever it was with a most positive attitude, and then launched the new day's work. Confidence from experience helps produce wonderful results. Our home is now totally safe, passed two inspections, and ready for SDG&E to increase amps. Lowell and LJ have prepared our home for future solar paneling and an all electric car.

I can't enough good things about Cabrillo Electric. I found them on Yelp this morning (Sunday) when I woke up to the nice surprise of my kitchen outlets not working at a time when we had a house full of guests.

Lowell responded quickly to my request for a quote, and was at my house within about 30 minutes from our first time speaking. All said, it took him about an hour to resolve our issues, and held to his quote. Lowell will be the first person I call for any electrical projects going forward. Top notch guy!

We've been meaning to get our Nest Hello doorbell installed, but we had no idea if we had existing wiring to our doorbell in our old house. I got a quick response for a quote on Yelp on a Saturday morning, and they showed up and got the job done. Since there was no doorbell wire already there, they had to readjust the quote. The bid seemed fair to me since they had to run new wire from our attic. They got the job done quickly and the doorbell works great.
