A portion of my house randomly went out, so we needed an electrician to come out and help. I spoke to about 4 different companies and decided to go with Cabrillo Electric. I had to install a ceiling exhaust fan at my business location. I found these guys on Yelp due to their 5 star rating and they did not disappoint. The task was very challenging for a number of reasons but they creatively figured out a way to make it work and even brought to my attention a couple safety measures that needed to be addressed. I found out the previous owner made a few shortcuts that weren't to code and these guys fixed it (and saved me from a potential lawsuit down the road). They completed everything on time, look/works perfect, cleaned up and all done at a very reasonable price. Definitely, definitely recommend these guys.

The power went out on the refrigerator in our rental unit. The appliance technician who looked over the refrigerator suggested we contact an electrician check out the outlet behind the appliance. I sent a request out through yelp and Lowell Sr. and his son were quick to reply. They were on a job in Santee but offered to come by after to look at the outlet. They were prompt, explained what the problem was and fixed it in a timely fashion. Lowell was knowledgeable and extremely helpful in fixing this problem so we could get the refrigerator running again. His pricing was reasonable and fair, especially considering he came on the same day. I would use Cabrillo Electric for electrical repairs or work I need done on our home or rental unit. Lowell deserves a 5-star shout-out. it's saturday night, my electricity went off 3 hours ago--internet, fridge with groceries, all power... no fuse box switches to work with. Lowell responded immediately to my yelp, said he'd drive up immediately (and clearly quoted the emergency rate), and then first walked me through the fuse box. we found the problem, all is good. i want to salute his prompt response and his professionalism. top notch!

Terrific father & son team! They were polite, punctual, professional and did a superb installation of two outdoor outlets at my home for a great price! They were incredibly responsive to my YELP request ... they responded to my YELP request immediately and were at my home the next morning! Finally, I respect a contractor that takes pride in their work, Lowell took the time to show me specifics of the outlet installation and asked great questions to make sure he understood our desires for outlet placement and usage .. Cabrillo Electric will be doing all my electrical services from now on! They earned my trust!
