Rey and his son installed a double wall oven for us. While it was ultimately our responsibility to make sure that our circuit breaker and wiring could handle the amperage of the oven, one would expect the electrician doing the hook up to check that out and warn you if it couldn't and suggest needed changes for safety. C&M either didn't check or didn't tell us. We were installing a 40 amp oven with only 30 amp service. Like many homes our wiring is aluminum but the oven runs copper. There is a safe way to make the copper to aluminum connection, but C&M didn't use it. They simply connected the wires leaving us with a fire hazard. Fortunately, when the improper connection caused overheating and the insulation on the wiring burned up, our ovens quit working before a fire could start in the wall. They should have known better. I would never use nor recommend such incompetent installers.

Ray came to my house 1 1/2 hours after I called him late one morning. He was able to do a job for me that other repairmen couldn't or wouldn't do, at a very fair price. I am very satisfied with the work he did.

Well I have to be another one star review as I got a call from a guy who can not even communicate clearly and keeps me quoting random price for service. First he says $180 just to replace over the hood microwave then he says ok i will charge you $150. I was just asking some questions about installtion details and he goes like ""where are you from man?"" He meant in a way as I don't sound American..

What type of question is that? Why does it matter where I am from to get service?

Just FYI for other reviewers Home Depot charges $99 to replace over the hood microwave.

Not sure about how they got so many other five star reviews.. I say stay away or do little research before calling these unprofessionals ..

Awful. I worked with them multiple times to schedule and appointment and BOTH times they cancelled 15 minutes before they were supposed to show up for the appointment. Of course they were both weekday appointments which meant time off from work etc.

Granted they don't usually service this area but they were aware of where I lived and still committed to coming on two separate occasions. They may or may not be good at what they do but unfortunately I'll never know. I can't even get them to keep an appointment...

I called them to install a dishwasher. My house has never had a dishwasher in it, so it wasn't a quick install, but C & M were super nice and did the job really quickly (about 2 hours). They laid down plastic and were careful about leaving doors open, since we have indoor cats.

I would definitely hire them again for any job around the house that I needed!

I called on a Sunday and Ray came out on Monday. He did a great job installing a new cooktop, after first removing the old one. He arrived on time, was able to use a saw to create the slightly bigger hole in the under-countertop plywood that the new cooktop required. By the time he left he had vacuumed the area and I had a beautiful new cooktop!
