I hired C. Bates Electrical to install a 50 amp level 2 EV charger, and we also needed an additional outlet in our master bath. I contacted two other companies who wanted pictures of my electrical panel, the distance from my panel to the installation site, etc.

C. Bates didn't ask me for any pictures or measurements. I spoke with Carlos, the owner, and he said he had someone who could get to me within the hour. Wow! They came out, took measurements, took pictures, and made recommendations. I have 40 years of experience, so I knew who to choose - the ones who showed up!

They completed the job today, and honestly, I couldn't be more satisfied! I know how hard it is sometimes to find skilled, passionate, and experienced electricians, but these guys had all of that. I'm happy to give them five stars!

I was initially a bit concerned that the projects I needed done would be too ""small"" but I wanted and needed the work done by professionals. Carmonie and another member of their team arrived on time and got right to work on several projects replacing a kitchen light fixture (+ new dimmer switch), installing a large LED bathroom mirror, and setting up a Ring camera. Carlos helped us install an outlet on my EV-ready circuit so I could use a kiln and the whole process was phenomenal from quote to finish. This was our first time hiring an electrician and Carlos made it super seamless with his friendly demeanor and willingness to help guide us every step of the way!

We had sent a yelp quote request to Carlos and he promptly responded and came out at our earliest convenience to give us a quote. I got my kiln specs wrong and Carlos was so friendly and kept updating our estimate to reflect what we actually needed to operate our kiln, often after-hours and super quickly!

On the day of the install, Carlos came promptly and got the job done. I really liked that he even showed you a testing device that shows the outlet was functioning at exactly the voltage you needed it to!

Definitely so deserving of his 5-star reputation and quite frankly, I'd give him 10 stars if I could!

I see now why C. Bates Electric has all 5 star reviews! Carlos responded quickly to my request, and was able to come out within a day to give me a free onsite quote while others who responded said ""send me a photo and I will quote you.""

Coming on site clarified the details of the job, allowing for him to give me an accurate quote on the work (new outdoor circuits, security cam install, can lights, new panel install, new transfer switch install.)

The quote given let me pick and choose what I wanted based on cost sensitivity, but it was such a great deal I signed up for the whole enchilada.

Upon signing, we had four guys show up who cranked for 12 hours straight to get the job done, they were very polite, and could tell they were working well together as a team. They were confident, yet didn't hesitate to ask for clarification as needed to make sure they were delivering as promised.

I requested some small tweaks after the job was done -- Carlos and the team stood behind their work, and showed up the very next day to put a bow on it and make it 110% of what I had originally requested.

Very impressed with the people and price, will be eager to use them again for future projects.
