Britain Electric has stood as a leading electrical contractor in Houston, Texas for more than 75 years. With a wealth of completed electrical construction, service, and maintenance projects, we have garnered a client list featuring many of Houston’s largest companies.

We provide a full spectrum of capabilities designed to address our clients' electrical demands. Our offerings include support in design, pre-construction feasibility assessments, construction, and ongoing service and maintenance. We have managed a diverse range of commercial and light industrial projects, from filling stations and high-rise offices to major hospitals and tenant buildouts in both downtown and medical office settings.

We also take part in many “Design Assist” initiatives, working alongside owners, general contractors, architects, and consulting engineers to ensure budgets, schedules, and design strategies (materials & methods) are maintained through construction and project closeout. For more than 75 years, Britain Electric has been a leading electrical contractor in Houston, Texas. Founded by Mr. R. H. Britain in 1947, the company quickly rose to prominence as a key commercial electrical contractor in the Houston area. For more than 70 years, we have been based at our original site at 2011 Dallas Avenue, close to downtown Houston. Currently, we are headquartered in the Jersey Village area, with multiple service locations in Downtown Houston and the Houston Medical Center.
