Britain Electric has stood as a leading electrical contractor in Houston, Texas for more than 75 years. We have successfully completed numerous electrical construction, service, and maintenance projects, building a client roster that includes many of Houston’s largest corporations.

Our experience spans various project sizes in commercial and light industrial fields, such as filling stations, high-rise offices, significant hospitals, and interior tenant improvements for downtown and medical office buildings.

Additionally, we engage in numerous “Design Assist” projects, collaborating with owners, general contractors, architects, and consulting engineers to optimize budgets, timelines, and design concepts (materials & methods) throughout construction and project completion. Britain Electric has been one of the top electrical contractors in Houston, Texas for over 75 years. Founded by Mr. R. H. Britain in 1947, the company quickly rose to prominence as a key commercial electrical contractor in the Houston area. We have been serving the community from our original location at 2011 Dallas Avenue near downtown Houston for over 70 years. Today, our headquarters is in the Jersey Village area, complemented by several service locations in Downtown Houston and the Houston Medical Center.
