Britain Electric has stood as a leading electrical contractor in Houston, Texas for more than 75 years. We have successfully completed numerous electrical construction, service, and maintenance projects, building a client roster that includes many of Houston’s largest corporations.

We cover all aspects, from design help and feasibility analysis before construction to the actual construction and maintenance services. We have managed a diverse range of commercial and light industrial projects, from filling stations and high-rise offices to major hospitals and tenant buildouts in both downtown and medical office settings.

We participate in various “Design Assist” projects, aiding owners, general contractors, architects, and consulting engineers in managing budgets, timelines, and design ideas (materials & methods) to keep projects on track through construction and completion. In Houston, Texas, Britain Electric has maintained its status as a top electrical contractor for over 75 years. Founded by Mr. R. H. Britain in 1947, the company quickly rose to prominence as a key commercial electrical contractor in the Houston area. For over 70 years, we have operated from our original location at 2011 Dallas Avenue near downtown Houston. Today, our headquarters is in the Jersey Village area, complemented by several service locations in Downtown Houston and the Houston Medical Center.
