Our smoke alarms were going off all night and I sent a message to Bright Idea Electric before 7am the next morning. They responded within minutes and had someone out to my home in the next couple of hours. They went above and beyond to help us and did a wonderful job replacing all of the smoke detectors in the house. We are so grateful for their speedy response and help!

Great experience! We had the old fluorescent lighting replaced in our kitchen and bathroom and we love the new look! Especially the dimmer! We got six can lights in the kitchen and a new light fixture installed in the bathroom. The job looks professionally done and the guys showed up on time and were quick to complete the project, even after having to get different can lights for the kitchen that better suited the space, which is a small space. My only gripe was the dust and debris I found in my medicine cabinet. We just need to cover things more thoroughly since dust and debris can creep in anywhere!

Would I recommend Bright Idea? Yes!

I had problem with kitchen outlets, found them on Angie, Dana responded fast . She was friendly,helpful and informative. The service was scheduled fast and the guys who came in were polite, and friendly, very efficient, did the job gave us good advice and we were not charged extra. They will be my go to electrician in future for sure.

A non-electrician strongly recommended to me that I needed to replace my old electrical panel on the house. I contacted Todd at Bright Idea Electric and he came over and we discussed at length. He assessed that I wasn't really having any problems with the box. I told him that sometimes they trip, and he said that has nothing to do with this box, just try and space out a bit when you are using all of your appliances in the kitchen. Todd's assessment was that since I was not having any problems related to the the panel, that I really did not need to replace it (although he would if I wanted him to). I so appreciated not getting ripped off!!! I will definitely call Bright Idea again next time I need an electrician, thanks to that degree of honesty.

Starting with the first text and call, Dana, was friendly, to the point and immediately set Todd to come the next day after receiving the lowest quote to install a 220 volt outlet for my level 2 EV charger. I had an issue with my outlets not working in half of my kitchen and my breaker also going out. Customer service was great. Rates were very reasonable and competitive. Todd came and quickly tackled my job, he was on time, very professional and communicative. I'll be giving them a call for every electrical work from here on out.

Todd has been our electrician for going on 20 years now. This morning we had an issue after power went out due to extra Christmas lights. It's Christmas Eve and he still stopped by. About a month ago he installed some recessed lighting and a flatscreen tv as well. He is fairly priced but what is best is you can trust him. Today he saved the Christmas Eve Turkey dinner by diagnosing the breaker problem for our oven. Over the years we have enjoyed his quality service. We highly recommend Todd and a Bright Idea Electric. Very happy customer

They were professional and courteous. Todd came early and knew his stuff. The estimate for the work was $195 but it was easier than he thought it would be and only changed $100.
