Todd and Dave were a Christmas miracle. We had a circuit breaker go bad at the wrong time...we were just starting on 10 dozen Christmas cookies that were due by days end when the stove wouldn't turn on. These guys showed up promptly, replaced the breaker, did it with Covid courtesy and we were back in business baking cookies. They will now be our go to electricians.

The communication at Bright Idea is incredible from beginning to end of the process. What really sets this company apart from the rest is that they are able to give a free quote over the phone and they patch the walls so you dont have to work with multiple contractors. They really make the process easy and convenient. We had a large project, but Todd was able to start immediately which was awesome. Todd was able to provide recommendations, but was not pushy. The invoice and estimate were itemized so it was clear and easy to understand.
As a person unfamiliar with electrical work I was nervous going into this process, but they made the experience really easy and stressfree.

Todd and Dave helped us with installing new lighting and a door bell outside our home. They did a great job. They also discovered an issue with how out GFC outlets were installed and fixed the issue for us. If I could give Bright Idea more than 5 's, I would!! BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I had 2 other estimates for my dryer issue ~ one was outrageous; the other said I needed a new dryer (which is almost brand new!). Todd from Bright Electric knew what the problem was, installed a dryer booster and a designated electrical switch. The fee was so reasonable , I thought he'd made a mistake. His work was spotless, he finished before his estimated time and his professionalism was outstanding!! I highly recommended Bright Idea for any of your electrical needs!!

Couldn't be happier with these guys. I have been working with my home warranty company on an issue with our stove top plug and they just kept sending me sub par guys. I made the decision that the problem was too important not to be handled by a professional. Called at 5:00pm and had them out by 7:45am the next day. Problem was fixed in 45 minutes. Todd and team are awesome!! I always hire them for all electrical work on my home. They are great to talk to and have really good recommendations for home upgrades. Yesterday they added lighting to my garage and attic and fixed my light switches. A few months ago they installed an electrical dryer plug for my dryer and Tesla EV charging needs and fixed my pool panel and added an outdoor outlet. They are always on time and efficient and do an excellent job. Will be using them again to upgrade lighting to Casita smart lights and add recessed lighting to my master bedroom. Highly recommend!!

I had a section of my house lose power and couldn't figure out why. I checked the breakers on the side of the house and none had tripped. The sections were on different circuits and baffled me why I lost power to both. Thought perhaps it was a mouse nibbling on wires because I heard scraping noises coming from inside a wall located in my garage. Anyway, this was beyond my abilities so I asked a friend who is a general contractor and he referred me to Bright Idea. Todd and Dave came to my house and,like crime scene investigators, traced the problem to a junction box located in the attic where a pigtail connection had broken loose. How they managed to trace it to that I have no clue but it was quite impressive, These guys know their stuff and have the equipment and tools needed to be successful at the problem at hand.

Would definitely call Bright Idea back for any of my future electrical needs and would definitely refer them to anyone who has the need to hire an electrician.
