If I could give more that 5 stars I would.

We're in the midst of the combined joy of Shelter-In-Place and working from home. Me. the wife and kids are in the house all day, so those little annoying things we can ignore because we're on the way to work/school are starting to become big annoying things when you're in the house all day long.

I gave Tyler a call and he called me back later the same day to set up a time to walk through the house and come up wit an estimate. Tyler's schedule was pretty packed (a good sing IMHO) so we had to wait a few days. A few days later he showed up on time (actually a bit early) to begin the quote. Tyler was friendly and professional the entire time.

What I REALLY appreciated was that he was able to help provide feedback on what we wanted to do and provide options. In addition, he offered BOTH options AND (when asked) recommendations.

When it came to showtime, we had some last minute changes to the script. Tyler was patient as adjusted on the fly constructing a revised quote which included making a run to Home Depot in order to get some more stuff because of the ad-hoc changes we wanted.

Tyler also corrected some...less than stellar work that had been done by a previous electrician. As with everything else, he was patient and took the time to explain the why, our options and his recommendation.

Tyler was professional, efficient and left the spot where he worked just as clean as when he started; easily one of the most pleasant experiences we've ever had with someone called in to do work on our house. Rest assured that if we have ANY other electrical work, we'll be calling Tyler/Better Electric first.

After reading all the great reviews of Better Electric, I gave them a call. Tyler answered the call and he was honest about his busy schedule. I shared with him that we lived in an older 2 story home built in the sixties. The existing fan bracket was for a small light weight fan and I suspect it needed upgrading/replacing with a modern bracket that would support a modern fan. He agreed an informed me about the various brackets used to support a fan up to 25 lbs or more. Although his schedule was booked for 2 to 3 weeks, he squeezed me in the following week after he completed his final job for the day. The day arrived and he sent me a text to let me know he would stop by for the job. Once he arrived, he went straight to work. He was very friendly and shared some great stories. He replaced the old bracket with a new one with the proper rating in short order. Next, he quickly setup the fan and had it working in no time. I am so glad I gave him a call. After having a less than satisfactory experience with another electrician, in comes Tyler to save the day. After notifying me of his rate (cheaper than many, in the middle of the pack) we set up an appointment at the start of the work week for today, Thursday. He actually stopped by about 30 minutes early which was fine with me.

After introducing himself, Tyler got right to work, first taking a quick inspection of what needed to be done, got his tools and ladder and tackled the upstairs bedroom replacement of a heavy and aged ceiling fan. Tyler was efficient, careful and worked like this was the proverbial piece of cake. No small talking here, as he concentrated on the task at hand. After he finished, he demonstrated the fan showing me the different functions of the remote. Everything was left clean as when he entered the room.

Next was a small job replacing a driveway sensor wall light which he had done in less than fifteen minutes. Altogether he did all of his work in less than 90 minutes. He even had some time to check out a faulty kitchen ballast which was our. He said that he would schedule return to fix it next week.

I am impressed with Tyler's work. Everything looks professionally done - no loose wires, or scratches on the ceiling, no chipped stucco, no dirt in the house, no dropping the light fixture and breaking the glass, and of course, he came wearing his mask in this day In age of the COVID-19 outbreak.

I highly recommend Tyler.
He came in and figured out what was wrong in my garage immediately and offered a quick fix instead of an earlier guy who tried to convince me that I needed a $2000 rewire.
I needed to fix my light fixture. He was very patient and offered his professional opinion without pushing me towards either option. In the end, I got all my light fixtures replaced and it felt really great.
I would hire him again. :)

Tyler was great! Arrived on the agreed time as promised and right away went to work. All the outlets on one side of the kitchen died and sure enough, he was able to find out the root cause. His rates are very competitive among all those who sent me quotes and he is quick in responding to your texts. Would definitely call him for our electrical problems from now on!

Moms mobile home did not have any power on one side of the house.
Tyler arrived early(yes!!!) diagnosed the problem and gave me fair and really reasonable quote. He fixed the issue, on budget, and left the room clean. He's also very friendly which is sometimes hard to come by.
I will definitely be hiring him for my next project.

Tyler B, was wrong that he mentioned about the charge upfront. I promise that he didn't mention about the charge before he started the job. He did ask me to pay him $250 after he power ON the switch. It is insane to anyone to ask $250 just for a 10 seconds of work. I will never do a business with you and don't recommend to anyone. The way it sounded like I had to cover his advertisement cost.
