I would give zero stars if i could! I scheduled an appointment with Tyler...and he canceled via text message 30 minutes before and never bothered to reschedule with me.

I decided to give Tyler a second chance. I scheduled another appointment with Tyler for 530 pm and he no showed. I then called Tyler to ask if he was planning on attending our scheduled appointment. Tyler did not take ownership for completely flaking on me AGAIN and never bothered to contact me and tell me he was not going to make it AGAIN. I am appalled that Tyler did not have the decency or professionalism to notify me. Instead, I woke up early to wait for him and I completely wasted my time.

Fuck you Tyler and your bullshit excuses.

I WOULD ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AND I AM SHOCKED THERE ARE ANY POSITIVE REVIEWS.

Very glad that we found Tyler through Yelp! Right from the start, he was hyper responsive, which I really appreciated. He worked very quickly and efficiently to install a light fixture in my home office. Would hire him again for sure!

Tyler came out to my home and installed 2 ceiling fans and replaced a broken porch light. He was on-time, speedy and very informative about what he was doing. Cost for his services were super reasonable. Highly recommended if you're looking for a qualified electrician to get the job done!!

I contracted better electric to replace 5 ceiling fans in my house and Tyler was prompt in his responses and courteous, with an interest to get my needs met when I needed them on short notice. Chris came to perform the work and he was awesome! He worked so much harder than I anticipated. In my disappointment all of my original ceiling fans were placed incorrectly without the proper support box needed to withstand the weight of the fan (no wonder they always shook when they were on). Chris worked non-stop and never complained. He replaced all of our ceiling fans the proper way. He left our home sweaty, dirty, and exhausted but courteous through and through and never complained about all of the unanticipated labor and time it took. He was pleasant, professional, fast, neat, and all-around a pleasure to have in our home. I will definitely be contracting Tyler and his crew for my future electrical needs undoubtedly.

Tyler was quick to respond to the Yelp Quote system and set up an appointment - this is quite rare during COVID since everyone is fixing up their homes. He was on-time, wore a mask the whole time (along with his associate), and was quite meticulous with his work. For each light fixture, he'd ask for our preferences (and when we more or less shrugged, he'd offer his advice based on how we'd use the light).

When we wound up buying a non-dimmable fixture for a dimming switch, he talked us through our options and quickly adjusted the switch to meet our needs. It's rare to meet someone like Tyler who goes above and beyond when many just do the bare minimum.

Would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone seeking an electrician.

Tyler helped install 5 ceiling fans for me and he was amazingly efficient, organized and clean overall, finishing the job in just about 2 hours. Impressive and workmanship looked excellent. He guarantees his work too which gives me comfort if anything goes wrong, I know he's good for it. I know who I'm calling if I need any help around the house!

Tyler is very professional and knowledgeable. He identified a huge risk with my old, out of code electrical panel and replaced it. Tyler is also one of the only electricians with the experience and expertise to install my generator transfer switch. Highly recommended and will definitely have him do all my future electrical work!!

Bene Electric gave me a quote promptly after I reached out. He guided us through the entire process if installing recessed lighting inside the house. The work was started just a few days from when he gave us an estimate, showed up on time, did the job in the time line provided during the estimate and did a great job. We love the lighting - it transformed the look of the house. His suggestions to make some minor changes went a long way to improve the house. Great job!

If I could give more that 5 stars I would.

We're in the midst of the combined joy of Shelter-In-Place and working from home. Me. the wife and kids are in the house all day, so those little annoying things we can ignore because we're on the way to work/school are starting to become big annoying things when you're in the house all day long.

I gave Tyler a call and he called me back later the same day to set up a time to walk through the house and come up wit an estimate. Tyler's schedule was pretty packed (a good sing IMHO) so we had to wait a few days. A few days later he showed up on time (actually a bit early) to begin the quote. Tyler was friendly and professional the entire time.

What I REALLY appreciated was that he was able to help provide feedback on what we wanted to do and provide options. In addition, he offered BOTH options AND (when asked) recommendations.

When it came to showtime, we had some last minute changes to the script. Tyler was patient as adjusted on the fly constructing a revised quote which included making a run to Home Depot in order to get some more stuff because of the ad-hoc changes we wanted.

Tyler also corrected some...less than stellar work that had been done by a previous electrician. As with everything else, he was patient and took the time to explain the why, our options and his recommendation.

Tyler was professional, efficient and left the spot where he worked just as clean as when he started; easily one of the most pleasant experiences we've ever had with someone called in to do work on our house. Rest assured that if we have ANY other electrical work, we'll be calling Tyler/Better Electric first.

After reading all the great reviews of Better Electric, I gave them a call. Tyler answered the call and he was honest about his busy schedule. I shared with him that we lived in an older 2 story home built in the sixties. The existing fan bracket was for a small light weight fan and I suspect it needed upgrading/replacing with a modern bracket that would support a modern fan. He agreed an informed me about the various brackets used to support a fan up to 25 lbs or more. Although his schedule was booked for 2 to 3 weeks, he squeezed me in the following week after he completed his final job for the day. The day arrived and he sent me a text to let me know he would stop by for the job. Once he arrived, he went straight to work. He was very friendly and shared some great stories. He replaced the old bracket with a new one with the proper rating in short order. Next, he quickly setup the fan and had it working in no time. I am so glad I gave him a call. We are very happy with the results. Great Job Tyler! Thank you!!
