I will be writing a new review soon. The saga continues. I settled a dispute which included no posting. The problems have continued. My complete post will be issued tomorrow. You won't want to miss it.

made an appointment for a weekday between 10 AM and 2 PM. Was informed I would get a call about 30 to 45 minutes before arrival. No one showed. No phone call. I suggest they rename the company WORST and instead of a Superman have a Peter Pan as their symbol. I called the company to complain and received a bizarre, unbelievable explanation about why no one showed. WORST is the WORST.

Beware!! Quick to provide service ( 1st one in the door) but then the selling and up charging starts right after they tell you that they can do the work immediately. Much higher charges than the competitors and massively up charged fees, such as permits, inspection ,etc. Surprised that Collier and Lee County haven't shut them down! The one good reviewer is probably a family member of the ""family owned"" business. Got customer ""service"" after threatening to get a lawyer, but just got talk - cabal of liars!!

Less than one star!
We contacted Best Home Services Wednesday night and we were told that they would send both plumbing and AC in the AM, but would only charge us for one of them ($99).
In the morning they called at 7:45 and said they were on the way so we rushed home. The first guy did not arrive till close to 10:00 a.m. and was the first AC guy. He at least got a ladder out to look, whereas the other individuals did not, but told us that it definitely was not the AC - that it was the plumbing. He told us the plumbing guy was on the way, but he still needed to charge us the $99 for his coming out. Fine, I said- as we were told only one $99 charge.
The plumber shows up hours later and doesn't even get a ladder out. He said he was a ""senior"" tech who teaches all the others. He assured us that it was not the plumbing but in fact the AC. He also told us that whoever the AC guy was who we had inspect everything didn't know what the heck he was doing. That's when we informed him that Best Home Services had sent him. He apologized and said, oh he must have been in training, and that he was going to have Best Home Services send out one of their expert AC guys this time - who would know what they were doing. That being said, I overheard his phone call and he said to register the guy coming as a ""sales call"". He then told me he had to charge me $149 for my visit but that part of that was the service that the AC guy I would now be waiting on was going to complete. I explained I was told only 1 charge, and he said to call the office and get the first $99 refunded. We called the office and of course, got to answer and no follow up.
An hour or so later another gentleman shows up and we don't understand who he is and why he's there. He was sent by Best Home Services to come do the dry out of everything - however, we still had an active leak. He was very confused but actually spent the most time here. And then said for us to please call him back once the issue had been fixed, but that there was no point in starting to dry it out with an active leak.
Then the next (""expert"") AC guy shows up. He, also, fails to even get a ladder out and then proceeds to try to sell me a new AC. When I tell him that's not what I want him to do, but to talk to me about fixing it, he says he can't do that. And he wouldn't even know how to give me a quote for doing so. He then left without servicing the AC or anything else. Very quick visit!
The next morning we called a repairman that my neighbor had used, as the issue still needed to be resolved. He came out that afternoon. We spent $175 and he fixed the problem.
After all of this, my husband and I have tried calling the office here where we made the appointment to discuss the issues with the management. Have left several messages without so much as a callback. Finally, we decided to leave a review to see if that might get a response - Lo and behold we got a response! The lady in accounting asked that I email her all of the above information with a copy of the receipt/invoice from the work we had done with the repairman who actually fixed the issue and they would refund all charges. We sent the email and copy of the invoice, but of course, they've continued not to respond to emails or return calls - and of course, we've seen no refund. It's been over 3 weeks and too many phone calls and messages to count with no response.
Long story short: USE ANYONE ELSE!! This is scam to sell you something regardless of whether your issue can be fixed.

If I could give them 0 stars, I would have done so!
BEWARE: Probably the worst customer service I have experienced in my life. They sold 2 very expensive a/c units to my 80+ yr. old parents which stopped working within a few weeks. We called them out multiple times with no satisfaction. At one point, one of the repair men actually left the job and said he couldn't work for this company anymore.
They never closed out work permits and were so nasty on the phone. When I asked for customer service email addresses, I was told that I couldn't have them. It was such a horrible experience and it all occurred while my father was dying and my mother was so stressed.
PLEASE stay away from this company!

Worst home services!
I paid $20,000 in 2020 for a brand new AC and duct work. $20,000. At the time they told me they didn't need to replace the ""line set"". The line set is the little copper tubing that runs from the inside part of the AC to the outside part of it. When I was an AC tech we replaced all line set on new installs but whatever they are the expert right?
Less than 3 years later the AC's performance starts to dwindle. No worries. Our regular maintenance is coming up. I've had regular maintenance done by Worst Home Services ever since I bought the new unit. Every time they give my AC a clean bill of health. Well, not this time.
This time the tech said the system was low on refrigerant. That means a leak. Uh-oh. But things happen and I paid over $500 for the kid to add 5lbs of refrigerant and dye so that he could come back ""in about a week"" to hunt the source of the leak.
He had a ""sniffer"" with him to find leaks, but apparently the leak was out of the tech's immediate area, the sniffer turned up nothing. Which meant he needed to add dye to the system, let it circulate and come back with a UV light to look for the dye in the hard to access spots his sniffer couldn't reach.
The following week a different tech shows up and does my regular maintenance AGAIN! Luckily I got home from work and stopped him. He said he would straighten things out at the office and someone would be back. Later that night as I'm getting my children ready for bed I get a knock at the door and my dogs go crazy. It's like 9:00pm; so much for my sleeping 10-month old.
The supervillains at Worst! A third guy shows up unannounced and he doesn't even have the tools (UV light) to find the leak anyway! Really!!!
I called the company the next day and had to talk to three different people before someone would understood enough to book me another appointment. Maybe they use a third party messaging service. I don't know.
What I do know is that no one showed up for this appointment. Do you see a pattern developing? Sadly, this is not over.
So, the phone failed; I will try an email. I compose an email nearly as long as this review in a desperate attempt to get someone from Worst on the same page with me. By now it has been over three weeks since the first tech said there was a leak. If there is, indeed, a leak my system is slowly deteriorating. As the coolant leaves the unit.
I actually get a response and a phone call from these people who schedule an appointment and the guy actually shows up. He finds the leak with his UV light. The leak is in the line set, surprise, surprise. Oh and I can touch it with my hand. The tech sent me a picture of it. There's no reason the first tech's sniffer shouldn't have been able to find the leak. Unless there was operator error.
And because there was a leak that had gone so long bony being fixed, the compressor is now going bad. Air in a closed system is not good. So now we have to replace all the refrigerant.
Price tag out the door $2,600. I am so sick and tired of dealing with people and businesses like this.
I can't promise that somewhere else will be better, but I can try to get you to not be deceived by these people specifically. Please. Take your money elsewhere. For your own good.
I will never do business with this company again.

Run away!!! I called them to replace a circuit breaker going to my water heater and they quoted me $7,500 to replace my electrical panels and another $7,500 for a new water heater. Their electrician came back and finally replaced the $25 circuit breaker for $257. I was subsequently told their ""repair"" people work on commissions. I initially even signed up for their annual maintenance and when I told them I wanted to cancel (which was the next day), they did not want to give me a full refund. Stay away!

After having issues with my AC I called them out for a service. The first ""technician"" shows up and basically just tries to sell us the annual plan (which in hopes of getting better service we accepted and paid for the annual plan).
I ask him if my AC unit was too small for the size of my house and he replies, ""no it's the perfect size. If we were to put a new system in it would be the same size"". He provides me 3 outlandish quotes (I assume to make us feel like the annual plan is more worth it than the quoted work.) We finally say please just check the coolant and refill if it's low. He laughs and says ""Oh no I can't work on the system, I've hung my tool belt up years ago"", but don't worry as soon as I leave someone from dispatch will be calling you to schedule a service technician out.
I waited 2 days and no one called me back. On the 3rd day I called and called and called until finally someone called me back. I scheduled the ""actual"" service tech for later that week, 5 days now after the original call. When the 2nd technician showed up the first thing he said was ""your unit is too small and we should upgrade to the next size up"".
Already feeling like this company is trying to take advantage of us, I became extremely skeptical of everything that he said. He got into my attic and ""ran his tests"", the results were ""there is sediment from the install is partially blocking the coolant line. We would need to replace a part of the AC (please note: I don't remember the part name I think it was the coil but I have yet to receive any paperwork from the service call.) and said it would cost $2500. Now my AC is only 3 years old and the my house was built in 2020 and I confirmed that all parts would be covered under the original manufactures warranty. I said ""$2500?! that's with the parts be covered under warranty??"" he said ""yes sir, that is only labor and coolant"". My reply was ""can I please get a quote with a breakdown of the costs?"" the technician said ""nope that is a flat rate cost and we don't breakdown our costs.""Now, I am not an HVAC technician, that cost may be accurate, but as sure as I type this DO NOT FEEL COMFORTABLE with trusting a company that sends 2 techs out that completely contradict each other. I declined the work and asked the tech to leave.
I did however asked for the technician to perform the maintenance service for our unit and was told ""that wasn't possible during this trip, because this was a service call and not a maintenance call""
More than frustrated at this point I called in an attempt to cancel my annual plan, as no work had been performed and only 5 days had lapsed. I have called and spoken to several different people, all have promised me that someone from the membership department would be reaching out ASAP to find out what happened and how to make things right. That was 3 days ago now...no one has called me back.
The customer service is abysmal or, better yet, nonexistent.

In April 2023, I bought an $18,000 Goodman HVAC system from Best Home Services to be installed. The AC stopped working continuously since I purchased the HVAC system. Although the company finally fixed the problem after 13 tech calls, there was no consideration for failed attempts and no responsibility for technicians to fix the drain line (which was mispositioned and finally deemed the problem). After several new computer board installations and many service visits, the last technician finally figured out that the problem was the drip line incorrectly installed by Best Services (as of May 24th, 2023).
Two full days of up to 86 degrees in the Florida humidity in my home with visiting family including pregnant daughter and a two year old. Portable ac units were promised and not delivered. Supervisors and management wouldn't call me back. The company refuses to compensate me for their poor performance resulting in many days of waiting for technicians to not fix anything.
I'm appalled by the customer service of Best Home Services, by the lack of competence of the majority of their technicians, and the lack of responsibility that the company fails to take for their actions.

Called Best Home Services to fix an issue with our shower. Was told over the phone there would be a $39 service charge to evaluate and parts and labor would be an additional charge.
The technician came out and indicated we needed a new faucet cartridge and was advised to go ahead with the repair. The repair took under 30 minutes. The price was $466!!! They did give us 10% off which we ended up being charged $419.40 (what a deal). We're an elderly couple on a fixed income and we're blown away by this amount.
After checking around I found the price of the part that was needed cost under $50 at Lowe's. The tool needed to do this repair cost about $20.
The technician was nice and we had no issues with his work. Our issue is how much we were charged for a $70 supply cost and 30 minutes of labor.
We would never recommend Best Home Services because all you'll get is your Best ripoff.
