Run away!!! I called them to replace a circuit breaker going to my water heater and they quoted me $7,500 to replace my electrical panels and another $7,500 for a new water heater. Their electrician came back and finally replaced the $25 circuit breaker for $257. I was subsequently told their ""repair"" people work on commissions. I initially even signed up for their annual maintenance and when I told them I wanted to cancel (which was the next day), they did not want to give me a full refund. Stay away!

After having issues with my AC I called them out for a service. The first ""technician"" shows up and basically just tries to sell us the annual plan (which in hopes of getting better service we accepted and paid for the annual plan).
I ask him if my AC unit was too small for the size of my house and he replies, ""no it's the perfect size. If we were to put a new system in it would be the same size"". He provides me 3 outlandish quotes (I assume to make us feel like the annual plan is more worth it than the quoted work.) We finally say please just check the coolant and refill if it's low. He laughs and says ""Oh no I can't work on the system, I've hung my tool belt up years ago"", but don't worry as soon as I leave someone from dispatch will be calling you to schedule a service technician out.
I waited 2 days and no one called me back. On the 3rd day I called and called and called until finally someone called me back. I scheduled the ""actual"" service tech for later that week, 5 days now after the original call. When the 2nd technician showed up the first thing he said was ""your unit is too small and we should upgrade to the next size up"".
Already feeling like this company is trying to take advantage of us, I became extremely skeptical of everything that he said. He got into my attic and ""ran his tests"", the results were ""there is sediment from the install is partially blocking the coolant line. We would need to replace a part of the AC (please note: I don't remember the part name I think it was the coil but I have yet to receive any paperwork from the service call.) and said it would cost $2500. Now my AC is only 3 years old and the my house was built in 2020 and I confirmed that all parts would be covered under the original manufactures warranty. I said ""$2500?! that's with the parts be covered under warranty??"" he said ""yes sir, that is only labor and coolant"". My reply was ""can I please get a quote with a breakdown of the costs?"" the technician said ""nope that is a flat rate cost and we don't breakdown our costs.""Now, I am not an HVAC technician, that cost may be accurate, but as sure as I type this DO NOT FEEL COMFORTABLE with trusting a company that sends 2 techs out that completely contradict each other. I declined the work and asked the tech to leave.
I did however asked for the technician to perform the maintenance service for our unit and was told ""that wasn't possible during this trip, because this was a service call and not a maintenance call""
More than frustrated at this point I called in an attempt to cancel my annual plan, as no work had been performed and only 5 days had lapsed. I have called and spoken to several different people, all have promised me that someone from the membership department would be reaching out ASAP to find out what happened and how to make things right. That was 3 days ago now...no one has called me back.
The customer service is abysmal or, better yet, nonexistent.

In April 2023, I bought an $18,000 Goodman HVAC system from Best Home Services to be installed. The AC stopped working continuously since I purchased the HVAC system. Although the company finally fixed the problem after 13 tech calls, there was no consideration for failed attempts and no responsibility for technicians to fix the drain line (which was mispositioned and finally deemed the problem). After several new computer board installations and many service visits, the last technician finally figured out that the problem was the drip line incorrectly installed by Best Services (as of May 24th, 2023).
Two full days of up to 86 degrees in the Florida humidity in my home with visiting family including pregnant daughter and a two year old. Portable ac units were promised and not delivered. Supervisors and management wouldn't call me back. The company refuses to compensate me for their poor performance resulting in many days of waiting for technicians to not fix anything.
I'm appalled by the customer service of Best Home Services, by the lack of competence of the majority of their technicians, and the lack of responsibility that the company fails to take for their actions.

Called Best Home Services to fix an issue with our shower. Was told over the phone there would be a $39 service charge to evaluate and parts and labor would be an additional charge.
The technician came out and indicated we needed a new faucet cartridge and was advised to go ahead with the repair. The repair took under 30 minutes. The price was $466!!! They did give us 10% off which we ended up being charged $419.40 (what a deal). We're an elderly couple on a fixed income and we're blown away by this amount.
After checking around I found the price of the part that was needed cost under $50 at Lowe's. The tool needed to do this repair cost about $20.
The technician was nice and we had no issues with his work. Our issue is how much we were charged for a $70 supply cost and 30 minutes of labor.
We would never recommend Best Home Services because all you'll get is your Best ripoff.

Do not trust this company. Whatever they try to sell you by their salespeople that call themselves technicians, make sure you do not sign anything until you have received other estimates from other companies.
They will try and sell you work that you do not need. Make sure you do not let the salesman go anywhere on your property unaccompanied by you.

When they came to replace a motor under warranty for an exorbitant labor charge, I was coaxed to buying a yearly maintenance contract. After 11 months when I noticed that none of the scheduled ""maintenance"" was done, I called to cancel my contract; they said it could not be done. They promised to maintain henceforth, however to do the first maintenance they cancelled the visit more than once. The second time they started postponing and then cancelled the visit. at which point I told them they don't need to come as I did not want to do business with them anymore.
Needless to say I had cancelled my contract with them for the following year and I had written confirmation. To add insult to injury they keep calling me to tell me that the contract will renew automatically. I called the office to straiten this matter, very hard to get a straight answer.
Save yourself the heartache and frustration; DO NOT do business with this company.

I've been waiting for my ""first appointment"" of the day since 10am this morning, called BHS @ noon to be told tech finishing up emergency call (ok I cut them some slack) 1pm I call again to be informed that they don't have the part and it will be 3 weeks before they can get it; I had to take a day off without pay and all they could say was sorry-do you want us to order the part??
They are far from the best!!!!!

I called Best Home Services because the faucet in my bathtub was dripping. After his evaluation, the serviceman told me that my problem was caused by mineral sediment in my water which was fouling the values. He needed to cut a hole in my bedroom wall to get to the valve to alleviate the problem.
Further, he explained that without a whole house filtration system, the same problem would occur in my other plumbing valves. The repair and system installation would run about $7000.
Being a little leery, I called a local plumber for a second opinion. $240 later my problem was solved.
You can judge for yourself based on my experiences.

BHS came out to install a new water heater when the one at my grandmother's house broke. The salesman was pushy, and pressured a desperate woman to into signing a contract (on a tablet) that he did not explain or offer a copy of. He did not even bring up the ""Buyer's Right to Cancel"" clause and he compelled her into signing up for a membership service, calling it a ""no-brainer"" and saying that it would cost way more money if she didn't.
When the technicians came out, they installed the water heater (using her ladder) and were only there for a few hours. They installed a RHEEM water heater, which retails for anywhere between $1200-2500 online (because it was discontinued in January) and charged $8,450 for it, plus $2,000 for a ""repipe and repair""!
When I called the plumbing manager, she told me $10,450 is a normal price to replace a residential water heater. She also told me that their price is based on that of the supplier, but I called the supplier she claimed they used, and they do not sell RHEEM products. The supplier also informed me that they sell comparably priced water heaters and they are used for commercial purposes, ""like hotels"". The plumbing manager then told me it cost so much because they had to use special equipment since it is installed on a 1st floor roof, but they only used two men and somebody else's ladder.
I talked to a lot of people since this happened and am finding out this is typical behavior for this company. Ironically, they claim they operate under these values:
""BHS was founded on a code of ethics based on the Golden Rule: ""Do unto others as you would want others to do unto you."" At our core, our company is just a family who takes care of other families all across Southwest Florida's tri-county area, including Bonita Springs, Cape Coral, Ft. Myers, Naples, Estero, Marco Island, and beyond.""
This company will rip you off! They grossly over-charged a trusting woman on a fixed income and were dismissive and unsympathetic about it.
As a side note: I heard from a former employee that they pay their workers on commission, which incentivizes them to over-charge. Despicable!

CAUTION: Be sure to request an estimate before having Best Home Services do any work at your home. We had a water leak at the refrigerator ice line box and called Best Home Services. The technician installed a new refrigerator box and also replaced the washing machine box as a preventative measure. Both jobs took about one hour total and the invoice was a shocker... $1,211 for the washing machine box and $672 for the refrigerator box. After researching that these jobs normally cost a few hundred dollars each, I called Best's customer service and asked if they would double-check our invoice as it seemed excessive to usual and customary charges. Best's representative said it did appear there were discrepancies with the charges and she would reach out to the plumbing manager to confirm and call me back. After several days passed without a return call, I called customer service again and was told the original charges were correct as they bill by scope of work, not hourly rates for their work. I will never call them for work again!
